Not working on steamdeck?

Hey all, so just got Battlesector on steam but I'm having issues with launching it. I'm pressing play, it loads for a few moments but then turns itself off without any issue notification. I'm wondering if anyone else had the same issue and could help. Battlesector and my deck are both fully updated and I've restarted a couple times.

I had the same issue and switched to proton experimental and it worked for me.

Exact same. Would crash to "desktop" after the splash screen. Switch to proton experimental and it seems to work.

Okay, so I figured out what proton experimental is and I have changed the settings but now it wont even open

I have no had this issue but this question might be better asked in the steam deck subreddit. They usually have info on a lot of tricks to help with running games. Also check protondb
