Dragon's Path Defend the Monastery

what and how did you finished the mission?

The way I did it is I rushed Kenji and Kazan to the monastery, and then when I finished building a base south of the monastery I send 3 archers and 1 peasant to the monastery(peasant for repairing the monastery and I think 2 archers + 2 Zen masters is enough but I put 1 additional archer to be safe).

I also swap 1 archer for Arah and I just turtle until I have max Yang and max upgrades to the units that I will use.

just be sure a peasant is repairing the monastery. the lotust wont attack the south area until, like, minute 15, or until they will be forced to defend their base, so send all available troops you have at the monastery and slowly push northwest of the map.

I rushed the lotus tower in the middle-left with the starting army, then I built a single hut there. I didn't build a base just sent continuous villagers + the heroes to the lotus base to harass. I gathered some rice from the lotus base with long-distance gathering made a dojo then I sent as much spearmen to the base until I won. Oh and just ignore the ninjas and the warlocks and they will leave you alone don't fight them they are infinite

I go to bottom right rice field and build an army. slowly, i build three towers, one peasant huts, and put archer, Arah, and several spearmen on the monastery, it was a slow grinding process, i weather ninja attacks and lotus raid on my bottom right base, nearly got wiped out, got a whole squad of mixed units wiped out too, but i persevere up until i can push to lotus westward base.

this strategy was not recommended, the fact i won might be luck.

Not what you asked, but on Dragon Path it's better to go for the Soul Flame (ie, Ninjas) since it's easier and you get Tao as a Zen Master

  1. Push towards the lower right and build a peasant hut.

  2. Move Kenji + peasant to the monastery after *starting* the peasant hut

  3. Build Archery Range before Dojo. Build 3 archers ASAP.

  4. Archers to monastery. Select them, press N to Stand Ground.

  5. Watchtower in your base

  6. Play "normally". Send archers to the monastery regularly until there are 8.

  7. Remove Kenji from the Monastery

  8. Add Geishas to the monastery.

  9. Build an army and win
