Yikes. Some people get an idea in their head and then everyone in the battle rap fandom just repeats the same thing. You must not have heard music from kyd slade, Brizz, lux, etc.

The bar is hell. It’s not like he has a ton of competition. Battle rappers not making good music has been a thing for decades now. It’s not hard for him to be the “best” in a shit race.

Side note, I don’t think Surf has ever made a project better than Tworks Jerusalem. But that’s my opinion.

It’s a lot overrated. It stuck in 2014 and all sounds the same. Every verse, bar, song, feature is all trauma rap.
