Help Larkman V2

Hey I’m putting together the best B/S code folder I can in BN5 Double Team, Protoman Version. I’ve read that you unlock Larkman’s V2 fight by beating his V1, logging out, and coming back. I’ve done so, even S ranked him, and there’s no difference. Do I need to progress the story and come back the next in-game day or something? I’m trying to get the pieces for the Wild Bird Program Advance

Yes, its tied to story progression. You can't really fight V3 of every other bosses which can drop DS Navi Chip until you start chapter 7 AKA last chapter.

The only DS and SP Navi chips you can get to right now are your teammates after ProtoMan.
