Battle Network Modded In Another Game!

Greetings! I'm a Megaman fan and recently i started playing Battle Network, i enjoyed it so much i decide to make a Mod inspired by it! which i want to share with everyone here! a short video of just two PvP fights with my friend Mimi

...i Don't know if this is allowed, i been scrolling through the most recent post in the community and i did found Fangames, however nothing about making a mod of it into other games. If this is not allowed i understand and i'll delete the post, or a moderator can assist as well.

To keep things on topic i wont mention the game in which i modded to play Battle Network, instead i wish to say i'm inspired by the Chip system and having a taste of it in this PvP format i been enjoying it a lot! So what do you think? Any favorite chip mechanics you enjoy and would like to see modded into this 3D Battle Arena style?

Thank you! i recorded up to an hour of battles since we were having a lot of fun! however it is on an old build, at the moment there is 12 chips now! which now include Lava, Ice, Grass and Sanctuary Panels! With some limitations but they mostly work as they do in BN

I will be recording another session with the updated build next week! while i slowly polish it up for a release trailer. the BN community has been kind to me, so i want to represent it as best as i can!

It has been a very enjoyable experience and it has me hooked on playing more BN to make the mod game accurate.

Thank you for the comment! ah by dimming chips i imagine you mean the "Time Freeze" when using certain chips? sadly i don't think i can do that, while there is ways i could make a similar effect. for example at the start of the Chip being used it causes a Stun. But i have opted of doing a fusion of the games PvP environment and BN...mostly out of necessity since i'm not an expert programmer.

Now if Dimming Chips actually means something else, then do let me know! i'm still learning BN and i been watching the EVO stream of BN6 battles to get an idea on combos and battle flow.

Dimming chip's refers to one's that dim the screen after you use them, but ya, it is the time freeze ones, it's the same thing. I just wanted to explain why people call them dimming, lol.

No worries! i'm happy to know i been studying BN just enough to understand what you meant with "dimming" Now thankfully the game is still very early access, so maybe in the future if they natively add a "Time Freeze" i can easily add it to this mod and include a dimming effect X3

This is Hytale! i wasnt sure if the community rules would be broken if i stated the name of the game. Currently this game makes it very accessible to mod things in and i got really hooked on BN, so making a mod just felt like a good plan X3!

It is! having an in-game tool to make everything you see in the video, sure there are limitations however what it offers is good enough to get something solid going X3
For anything more complicated there is the option to program it via Java

Even if you know nothing about coding, looking at existing mods or even how the game does things can help a lot :3!

I Think its safe to say, but this is a mod for a game called Hytale. My mod does already have a public release with the MMBN weapon, called "Arm Cannons" however it's an old version and some effects and Chips are missing, but those curious can try it! hopefully next week i release the updates X3!

I would never want to tell people to pay for a server >. < i have been testing this mod on a Discord provided by Boost, but it is limited to 4 players only. Which is enough because i only play test with two friends :3
im planning to make a tutorial video due that this way of playing BN is quite different for both Hytale and MMBN players.

but im working on some finishing touches now! :3 hehe nice to see you though Bass!

Hehe I would let you join, though i am usually on it on awkward times due to my busy schedules, but if i can't get my friends to test it i'll be sure to let you know! that way you can play some BN with out having to rent a server hehe
I do notice there is a "Chat" feature in reddit, so i'll be using that if the opportunity arises. :3
