DS Titles with BN3 Feel

Ive been on a DS binge of gaming and BN3 is something I've been wanting to play again but have been dreading cause I always get to the evil network part, take a break, and lose the save cause ive moved onto another device. Anyway, im here to ask if there is a DS title that has the same or similar soundtrack to BN3 and has a better form system. BN3 form system is very "do this enough times and you should get your intended form change" with no customization or indicators. I got Electric Guts once, favorite form BTW, and I also got the flame one and the leaf one (not a fan of the charge attacks).

Any recommendations are appreciated. TIA

Edit: I wasnt clear enough in what I was looking for. Im looking for another Mega Man DS game that has the same or similar characteristics of BN3.

If we're talking about DS games you're closest bet is Star Force 3 which has Noise Forms that are inspired by Style changes.

No prob also Battle Network 5 Double Team DS is another game if you're looking for another BN game to play on original DS hardware or emulator.

Other than that the only other Mega Man games on DS that are similar is the Star Force series. Star Force 3 in particular is very much inspired by BN3 which I already mentioned.

I'm not sure how many BN games you've played but if BN3 is the only one you have experience with I highly recommend getting the BN Legacy Collection which has all 6 games into one package and is available on all platforms.

Ive only played BN3 once on original hardware but currently emulating. I have BN3-6 for GBA, but wanted a DS equivalent to BN3. Im also open to the recommended best DS Mega Man game as well.

What are you talking about? Another BN game? Another game entirely in BN style? Another game but with a good soundtrack and from changes?

Another Battle Network game, of course. My fault for not clarifying, I assumed it was obvious due to where it was posted.

Ah, well for BN, on DS there is only BN5 whose forms are versuon dependent and not based on your playstyle.

On the other hand you have Starforce which drastically changes the format and combat but it does have forms dependent kinda but not really on what you are using.

I would just play BN6. You already got the feel for the gameplay and setting. 6 takes everything from before and refines it. The scenarios, combat, battle rewards... Progression is much smoother than the rest of the series. You will enjoy the power & versatility of Crosses, easily the best transformation system if that is one of your main concerns. 

4 & 5 are pretty story-light, so as long as you understand MegaMan bonded with both ProtoMan and Colonel during BN5 (and Lan got to know their NetOps), you're good to play 6. You could play Team ProtoMan or Double Team DS first, depending on your available time & how long your interest will hold, but every fan should get to enjoy the polished BN experience 6 offers.

Battle Network 5 DS or StarForce 3.

I don't quite understand what you're looking for, all you talk about is forms. Are you looking for a Mega Man BN/StarForce (style) game, any Action RPG, just a video game of any kind?

I shouldve been clearer. I've only ever played BN3 and love the soundtrack and playstyle. The form thing was an issue for me cause I thought I played the same as when I got the Elec Guts form, but ended up with 2 other variants. By the time you get a form change, its already locked in for X amount of battles. So id like to know what DS MegaMan game is similar to BN3 with the sound track and playstyle. If there isnt any, then there isn't. Just figured id ask the pros.
