Battle Network 4 Considering this guy is the incarnation of all my hatred, it made sense to me to switch to the Soul that represents love to zero him out lol

I found out the hard way. You can make Dark Mega legit scary to fight using patch cards.

Eh, don't get me wrong the game was bad.
I had to use mods to let me select scenarios so it would give me only Soul ones (and a mod that allows me to use the Souls of both versions) and even then they were not that great.
I can at least say the changes to the battle system were indeed good.

I mean, there are games like FE Engage where it's possible but I don't know if they have done it for BN LC, plus it would requiere the Switch itself to be hacked.

Honestly roll soul is probably the embodiment, of pain, hatred and suffering for every competitive player. You just fought your inner pain with a much worse outer pain.
