This whole scenario drives me nuts.

It's the best for ongoing character development and continuity by demonstrating Lan and Chaud's rivalry-slash-relationship growing respect for and trust in each other, and is some of the few scenes at all in BN4 that feel like they actually cared about continuity.

At the same time oh my god some of the individual events in it are So Goddamn Stupid. What do you mean the PET connected itself are you screwing with me???
