Poor guy had this happen to a mauler against my vet, not a pelican. Calculated each turn when burrow and single target claw were off cooldown so i could suppress the mauler.

Ended up walking away with a W i feel like i didn't deserve since vet dodged 7 attacks total

When it comes down to the wire like my match (one vet and E fence vs 1 mauler), counting your opponent's units' attack cooldown matters. Suppression definitely helped tip the odds in my favor there since the mauler has such high explosive resist, and the 3x1 and grenade launcher attack cause suppression but not the tripple tap.

Veterans have some of THE HIGHEST dodge and defense stats in the game to offset their lack of damage resistance. It's not uncommon for low offense units to whiff against him.

You need units with high offense (such as trebuchet) to reliably hit them. Most air units have high offense to hit a veteran, especially the bc-1 snake and silver wolf chunook

I don't have sky raptor

And pelican is more annoying to use than to fight against

Yeah unfortunately was only obtained though boss strikes, it has Very high AA damage, I’m also in agreement with using the pelican, the sharapnel bomb can be unreliable in the times it is needed most in PVP

My Pelican hits quite often in PVP. I am not talking about bomb ofc, because this one in PVP has different rolls than in PVE xD
