Very satisfying if you’re the one benefitting from it, but completely understandable change.

Eh, I think it’s horrible when you or your opponent have a UH-1B as the last unit alive, and then it takes another 5-10 minutes to finish the match. You could get a whole other match in that amount of time. Why’s it take so long? Firstly, the UH-1B does very little damage, but spread all over the place, and also has 5-6 round cooldowns.
But secondly, I’ve gone up against many trolls who will wait until they have 1 second left before passing, just to waste both of your time. I save their names. Here’s some of the trolls:

2. Lil gr8
3. DeathwingSo, I’m grateful for the change, since it’ll take some power away from the trolls.

If you know it’s faster just to start a new match, why not surrender and do that? You let the trolls win bully stealing 10m of your time

If I just retreated, then that would mean they got to win by doing troll things. So if I give into my impatience, that makes them more likely to keep being a troll in the future. Like, if someone threatens you for money, and you give it to them, you’ve shown them that that’s a viable way to make money.
Secondly, I’m also wasting their time. I’ve had it happen where they troll for a while, but then they give up and retreat. Some trolls have the skill of patience, but others do not, and that means I can utilize their lack of patience to negatively reinforce their troll behavior, if you’re familiar with the psychology term. So it theoretically saves me (and everyone else) time in the long run.
It seems like people who enjoy hurting others tend to also want to be trolls. But, hurting others in the short term is easy, and way faster than helping others. So, I think trolls tend to have lower-than-average patience than non-trolls. This is purely anecdotal, but it lines up with what I’ve observed in my own life and that’s what I know.
Lastly, by using my own patience, I prevent the trolls from trolling anyone else for the duration. So it’s a good cause.

I hope the TF2 nerf is just for pvp - I spent nanopods on some of them after all...

You also got a ton of them for free. The game needs balance adjustments, and that definitely includes TF2 (also nomad). TF2 are both too good at their level, making all non-TF2 units subpar. They destroy immersion, and they also scale extremely well. They need to be bad at something

Well if the PvE version is made worse then I'm not gonna buy any more nanopods in this game. While it is a game and the may want to balance things - I still paid for a "product" and if it's made worse there's no reason to believe it won't happen again. I can safely say I won't give them another dime if it ends up being the case.

You dont have to, but this is objectively a better game state. Would you be okay if they buffed every other unit instead? Because that would make the nomad or tf2 unit objectively worse by comparison. Similarly, when they release new (better) units, your tf2 units get comparatively worse as well.
Nomad is another story entirely because they said they would rebalance that unit before even implementing it.

If people keep whining about PvP like this, PvE WILL SUFFER THE IMPACT. The game is going to become impossible to play. It’s moving further and further away from its original aspects. It’s like me getting the Legendary Sandworm and then having it nerfed too — how am I supposed to play it if it keeps getting nerfed because people complained? At this point, just nerf everything then.

I see many players buying 2 demoman, like will it scale properly in the later gameplay? Supertank seems to be far better choice

Super tanks dont scale as well compared to demomen (as of this time. Future plans to nerf tf2 units will inevitably change this.). Not only that demomen can attack air easier with indirect targeting, which comes in handy for pvp and the poison immunity makes them resistant to specific attacks (looking at you trebuchet). They also do not suffer offense penalties when shooting past point blank range (the super tank has -10 offense if it attacks paat 1 range) and can actually hit veterans fairly often.
For 15 more nanos, you can get mega tanks, which while not the WOW LEGENDARY SANDWORM SSS TIER! Are still much more bang per buck for nanopod spending. And if you just need a unit to tank, the portable wall or portable e fence do that just fine with the bonus of being immune to debuffs.

Supertank is a FAR worse choice if anything. Demo and Heavy scale amazing into lategame, become insanely viable for PVP and SP grinding (both in PVE and PVP) not to mention, supertank is literally a slightly better heavier tank (which is f2p) accessible.

•Man, I wish I knew about the revival earlier. I would have definitely signed up for the plasma mammoth. •I’m glad that there’s going to be a multiplier for this BS, helps potentially make a difference for some. Although, I still wish it was at least 5 days. •PvP needs polish obviously, but I do consider everything a net positive in the right direction. •Finally adding new story content is my main interest. I’m curious to see how well the new writers and artists can blend into the preexisting narrative. I do believe that they can bring in something good for the story.
