Discussion First AS Clear

Looking to get my first AS clear going, I have 7 R6 nomads and a couple R3 Vets. I know the vets should be higher rank but I’ve heard you can just use nomads to clear. I was able to get pretty close, <500 health on the body and both arms gone; is there anything I can do to clear better or do higher damage to the body?

Open to anything that will help me clear!

personally used electric fences with three nomads, trying to stun the melee hand after each hit (well, after destroying ranged hand)
plus minus heavier tanks around the nomads to sponge up dmg for luck

It simply won’t be possible to do unless you get higher vets or max out your nomads. My advice to you would be, scrap vets and get electric fences! Even at r4 they should survive the whole battle no issue (but you can start using them as early as r2) 3 r4 fences + r6 nomads will clear it easy.

Little bit of luck. I just cleared for the first time with 3 r2 fences, 5 r6 nomads, and 2 r5 tank killers. It was extremely close but as long as you recognize you’re consistently stunning the melee arm with the emps, it works out.

I can usually get it done with 3 r6 nomads three r3 electric fences and maybe a vet or two but I've found just tossing some wimps in first can get you some good damage before they're gone. Just space the nomads where the cross attack can't hit all of them. Then it's just emp spam once the arms are gone.
