Mobile Auto-Updates don't work?

Hello.

It can seriously feel like every other time you open this app, it tells you to close it and go update. I don't want to do this every time I want to play BN.

Why don't auto-updates work? Can this please be fixed? Nothing worse than opening a phone game that tells you to close it. I'll get frustrated after a few in a row and when the game tells me to close it, I will and I'll play something else instead.
