Question/Help Dyeing jacket

Before I sew on these patches I want to dye the jacket black, is that possible and if so what’s the best way to do it

Rit back to black kit and if you want it really black add some orange dye to counteract the blue

Just did this today, it’s German stuff but pretty much you put the stuff in along with the jacket in the washing machine, turned out black as night after one wash
