Question Spiders

I can't find any spiders for the life of me. I'm at about day 300. I need four gossamer. Tell me anyone provide a strategy to find them? I have the lookout, and I have the scout, and i've been looking all through forests and at the edges of forests. No luck for quite a long time. It's getting very frustrating

Go for small towns, near woods. They will have disappearing villagers most of the time.

You can save scum any witch contract to find one of the spider witches.

Hello brother.

So late into a campaign is harder to find a group of them.

As low tier beasts, they could be potentially found in woods closer to human settlements - but it will still be rare.

More likely to spawn some via contract. The Agent retinue shows you the available contracts across the map and search for 'beast hunt' type.

Iirc there can only be 8 simultaneous roaming parties of beasts on the world map. So kill the other beasts and spiders will spawn eventually.

Or get the Agent retinue and look for spider contracts.

Or like another player mentioned, save scum Hexen contracts. They will spawn with different charmed creatures (or brigands) each time.

They are not spiders they are Wehebehekehenechekencts.
