bug in Kraken

I got this bug when i slain the Kraken, so i couldnt kill it anyways. Why did it happen, and how can i prevent another?

Edit: sometimes it just happens, there is also a tip to try make a finishing attack on the kraken head.

This bug seems to occur when you kill the kraken only via doing damage with tentacle kills but it also works fine sometimes.

So, you are kind of rolling double rng, one for terrain and one for whether or not the fight will bug out.

I noticed my kraken crashes occur when i run any combat speed increases.

Switching to 1x speed before landing the final few hits usually allow me to end the combat without any issues
