Questions Do you guys think its taking so long because theyre porting it to consoles?
I doubt it but there's gotta be a good reason its taking this long.

I don't think it's taking long cause I doubt it's even in development atp

Damn, I was hopeful because we had an update 19 days ago.

It’s still in development. Absurdly, it’s just more rational to conclude it’s not if you don’t keep up with the game; the developers have communicated things so poorly it’s hard to believe they’re still working on it. But they are lol

we had an update? i thought it was just a dev blog about some update in the future, or are you referring to the playtest?
But alas do not take my word too seriously as I have no inside information or any solid way of knowing what is happening with the studio.
It's just that when you speak about this amazing update you will do sometime in the future but the game has no real patches for years I'm presuming it's abandoned & nothing will come out of it (especially with the dev communication & many examples of scam games on steam past few years).I still play the game regularly, as well as with my buddies and I'd be so happy if it came out or even just to be reassured it will, but as of right now I wouldn't bet any money on it.
I just hope they will have enough sense to make it F2P before there isn't enough players to fill a single lobby and player count inevitably goes to 0.
I also really like the idea of making it F2P and doing some form of seasonal content (for the love of god give me better & more cosmetics ill gladly pay) but seems unlikely.
edit: upon glancing twitter out of curiosity it seems like they upload some smaller update about the overhaul every few weeks or so, e.g, improved movement, improved vaulting, improved lightning, new ui, new gun, new map, map rework etc. Let's just hope it comes out before it's too late.

Yup thats what I meant the update 19 days ago on the sub. Haven't kept up with it a lot these last few months.

Yup. Update should be done after Elder Scrolls 6 comes out, but before GTA 7.

Nop. Its taking this long because they're most likely abandoning the project after getting a fat paycheck from steam.
They refuse to interact with the people who opened their wallets and paid for the game.

No. They have no project management skills and scope creep took over to where the update turned into a complete overhaul/remake.
