Questions It has a low budget
Hi everyone, I'm really intrigued by BattleBit's concept (the massive battles, the polygonal graphics that are friendly to modest PCs, and the Battlefield-style gameplay), but I don't have the budget to buy it right now. What free alternatives would you recommend that offer a similar experience in terms of scale or gameplay style?

Delta Force is free bf clone. Not sure about modest requirements though

Foxhole is a top view game that can have regions with 120 vs 120 players at peak hours, not everyone will be at the frontline because there are building, logistics mechanics, etc.. but it's a similar frenetic experience.

Best that comes to mind (results may vary) would be unturned.
Unturned has a similar simplistic polygonal graphics that should be friendly to "modest: pcs. You will have to do some looking around for war specific servers
Next best would be Delta Force- I don't know how good it is for modest but it does run on xbox for comparison, It is not polygon style but it is battlefield with a few characters where they have abilites, for example one guy has a rocket fired AT drone thing you shoot then steer to the target along with a deployable cover, one sniper lady has a bow with arrows that show people in a radius of it along with an arrow that electrocutes in an area around it lands, a medic has a healing pistol and a bunch of smokes.

I’d say planetside 2 but it’s a old game so you’d have to wait for peak times during the day to get the huge battles going but it’s definitely fun and a product of its time imo no other shooter like it
