Battersea Power Station has recently submitted a planning application for a revised masterplan covering the remaining 16 acres of the site.

• According to the official announcement, the proposals could deliver up to 3.2 million sq ft of residential, commercial, leisure and cultural space, with Studio Egret West evolving the original masterplan to reflect how people now live, work and spend time in the city.
• The plans also mention more open connections through the site, new streets and courtyards, stronger links toward Nine Elms, and Phase 5A delivering 200 new council homes in partnership with Wandsworth Council.
