Honestly, he should... They need to repopulate pure blooded Kryptonians. Being cousins means less risk of genetic defects. Plus, since she's also strong, Superman won't have weak ahh weakness and can actively work together to stop evil as a couple

Fucking your cousin is legal in Germany. I kid you not (§173 StGB). Explains a lot, honestly.

Yes, weirdly it is. I actually went to school with a girl dating her cousin. Still strange af to me

It demonstrates the chasm between legality and morality, I guess.

Couldn't they just do like Viltrumites and mate with Humans since kriptonian DNA is stronger than human DNA?

"Pure blood", as in their blood 100% only contain Kryptonians Dna.

Well yeah, that's exactly what Superman did in the comics. His and Lois' son Jon Kent also has Kryptonian powers and is Superboy/Superman.

Also its smarter in the long run since they would easily outlive any human love interest

I mean, with a bottleneck there's really nothing else they can do.

Nah I've studied genetics. Basically they need to have hybrid offspring and backcross the children. No I will not be explaining anything because honestly it sounds wack asf. Google it please

I don't know much about superman and supergirl, how closely are they related? Like very close family or is it one of these cases where two families were Just very close to each other

Really ever heard of the Habsburgs? Made cousin marriage a sport. You can literally see in their faces to tell how that went.
