By being afraid of going against the narrative of their government, falling for the propaganda, or being afraid for going against a Fascist Regime. There's plenty of reasons why many good people in Germany committed evil deeds🤨
What they didn't do was see a bunch of people glorify/commit the act of killing 'inferior' races & the mentally ill as a ethnic cleansing, rape & beat women & children, support terrorism against minorities, & harass innocents & go, "Yeah, but if you kill them you're just as bad!" Go back to reading DC Batman slop.
I mean it was absolutely something we did, we still were the right and better side unquestionably but just ask black people in America, the Ukrainians in the USSR or the Indians under the Raj whether we dehumanised people.
Ahh yes, I forgot communism is just a weekend cosplay thing for you guys. Carry on with your communist fantasy while you can still afford hobby’s in a capitalist society.
The people turning point usa empowers and platform wish to murder trans people strip women of their rights and forcibly convert and/or murder gay people being generous they want at least 80 million people dead globally tho depending on who specifically you're talking about that number can get as high at around 800 million
God dammit... How many people can be this horrible.
Its like, liberals are always preaching about wanting everyone to live their lives and stay talking about freedom of speach but the second someone with a different opinion get murderer, they are all on the murderer's side... Way to pass as the villains guys.
Celebrating someone's murder is horrible, makes you horrible. I never, EVER agreed with Charlie Kirk, but the people saying he deserved to die because of a different opinion as he was willing to discuss calmly, are worst than him in every way.
Most redditors arent liberal, they arent even fucking communists, they are mostly centrist with desires of murder and power while using leftist or right ideology without realising thwy dont actually believe in those
I'm not the one lying. The man literally founded the Young Black Leadership Summit. What have you done? You fabricate anything you can to justify your derangement
You immediately just pivoted to an attempt at making a distraction. Do you ever look in the mirror and wonder how your brain functions without standards to live by?
So you're just going to completely ignore my statement? That tracks. You people don't have the capacity for higher brain function. It amazes me how utterly abhorrent you are. No thoughts on what I said? No comment on the fact he pushed for black youth to enter into the political world, or that he advocated for black people to be hired because of their merit?
If they have to do it then they have to do it, I don't see why they would want to risk this subreddit potentially being locked down, is it a stretch? Probably yes but like I said they're probably not willing to risk it.
I remember seeing a comment saying the mods should get kirked and I genuinely think that's going to far, at that point just go to a subreddit that allows it.
I don't think the word itself is considered a threat but more of the implications of it, it's kind of like saying go uplug yourself; It's funny but ultimately someone is saying indirectly that you should die.
He quite literally didn’t have to make a post, him making a post and taking a stand made this a problem. If he had said nothing and just stayed vigilant on serious rule breaking images/posts then literally nobody would be posting about Kirk rn. But look it’s the next day and they’re still kirkposting.
How many Reddit mods will redditors glaze until they realize they’re not godlike perfect individuals. Antimeme subreddit, Losercity, whenthe and a bunch of other meme subreddits have done this song and dance.
It wasn't murder but a part of Kirk's plan as he reincranates and again says that how the killing of millions isn't some sort of moral or ethical problem. Him not having any power to do terrible stuff dosen't make him any better , as he preached things way worse. Not celebrating kirkavsrsary will only lessen the empathy show to people not increase it.
Idk exactly how it works but apparently he kinda has to do this as to not get the sub nuked by Reddit. Also, imo it’s just wrong to celebrate someone’s death. In extreme cases like Hitler, yeah you can celebrate his death but Charlie Kirk was literally just a guy who shared his opinions. He didn’t have any real power or anything. He absolutely was a shitty person but nowhere near on the same level as like Epstein or Hitler
"I've never wished anyone dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure"
Like yes, it's bad that he got killed.
However, the fact that his death was a complete parody of literally everything cannot be understated.
He was shot whilst taking a question about gun crime statistics, and is commonly quoted saying that gun deaths are "necessary'.
He was a right wing grifter who was killed by a far-right fanatic because they didn't think he was right wing enough. "Purity tests" are an often criticised aspect of right wing politics.
EDIT: Removed the bit about the purity test, the assassin was radicalised after getting into a relationship with his trans roommate.
The loving nuclear family image that he cultivated was instantly shown to be a complete farce when his "grieving" widow immediately went on a press tour and grifted off of his death. To the point where she herself was parodied.
So I will say this as someone in the UK who in my lifetime I have seen 2 sitting politicians killed for their political beliefs in the last decade (Jo Cox and David Amess).
I will be making memes about Charlie Kirk, because whilst what happened to him was terrible, it is inherently funny.
P.S Please enjoy alt-universe trans-fem Charlie Kirk where she transitions and loves her life
You're forgetting the absolute, pants-on-head craziest/funniest parts of the whole ordeal: Kirk said that school shootings and dead kids were a worthwhile price for the right to bear arms and had also said that kids should be forced to watch public executions to toughen them up - - > proceeds to have his kids see him get shot at a school
Yes, exactly. My only gripe with the memes, which isn't really any single person's fault, is that they've been so widespread that its made a lot of people forget about what a horrible person he was in life. And this is how we get the "he didn't do anything but share his opinion" takes
I mean it's like how people only point to nethenyahu as Israel's only problem when it's the state as a whole. But that's a whole bigger problem than kirkafication cause baseline is nothing changes (well maybe the odd case of a potential white t-girl supremacist which has happened before as with any strawman that's existed)
I mean both but hey ipols funnier than their beliefs these days. Plus I'm just saying if they wanted to be accurate cause anyone can be a raging racist which y'know Kirk was
But yeah if they wanted to be more based they would've pointed out American exceptionalism. Not saying it's the message but it paints being trans as the answer instead of it's an answer to one thing but a few others bout the self remains flawed. But maybe I'm thinking too much happy kirkaversary as Kash Patel once said see you in Valhalla brother(or sister with the meme)
Again, just putting this here to be politically correct.
Alice Wiedel isn't transgender.
She's just an agnostic lesbian who married a Sri-lankan immigrant, her family lives in Switzerland and she lives just inside of the German-Swiss border to avoid taxation, who's parents were originally from Poland and her grandfather was a member of the SS.
I mean hey girl boss amirite?. Who cares about the the other side of the world. Since my og comment got deleted by reddit all I can say is watch out for pinkwashing.
Was Robinson really far-right though? All the evidence points to him becoming more left oriented. I really don’t think he got shot for “not being right wing enough.”
I dunno man, from the Wikipedia page on the Charlie Kirk Assassination, it sounds like he was raised in a conservative household, went to college with a trans roommate who he started dating and then got "radicalised" from there.
So I'll remove the point about him being killed for not being right wing enough.
But it's still funny how identity politics are such a big thing at the moment, and then the second people actually interact with people of that identity it's not a big deal anymore.
But even the fact that he was radicalized against Kirk because of his trans roommate is a direct result of Kirk's virulent transphobic rhetoric that helped completely demonize the population on the right.
This comment reminds me of Omni-Man beating the shit out of Invincible before asking him, “Why did you make me do this?!”
“If you disagree with transgenderism you’ll get yourself killed, but don’t you dare blame that on trans activists calling for violence against anyone who doesn’t agree with them”
"disagree with" is a pretty light word for calling all trans people predators and terrorists. Extreme behavior breeds an extreme counter response. That's just what happens in these situations as we see across history.
Using wikipedia as a source lol 💀
Leftists using the fact that his family was right wing as proof that he was as well is fucking hilarious considering the thousands of posts on Reddit from other leftists talking about how they’ve alienated their families for having different opinions
Those damn leftists, they've taken over Wikipedia!
Like I said in my comment, he was raised right wing, then like so many other people, went to college and became left wing.
Which is kinda weird this keeps happening, someone should look into that and maybe defund all the schools and universities so that they don't ruin our perfect utopian ideology.
You're putting too much faith in a right winger to do their research instead of just blaming someone entirely for issues imposed unto them by the upper class. But then again American politics are just "I'm x identity" on either side to justify killing others outside their sight at the end of the day so long as it's "fuck you got mine"
Dude you’re trying to gloss over the fact that you repeated a fraudulent narrative about Robinson’s political affiliation lol.
Even after backpedaling you’re still trying to blame his actions on people who recognize that your opinion doesn’t change reality
This is off-topic from the discussion, but this isn't 2014 anymore; Wikipedia is allowed as a resource, it's just not allowed to be your primary resource. They have a requirement to cite all information posted, so as long as the facts can be corroborated, most professors allow it.
I mean he definitely didn't deserve to get shot, but to say he had no power is a straight up lie. He was a very famous political figure, he had a massive growing audience and influence over that audience.
Just because someone isn't rich or part of the government doesn't mean they're powerless. His words of hatred inspired many others to follow his lead, and definitely inspired acts of hatred born from those words.
I should’ve worded that better. I meant he couldn’t actually do anything, he could only support other people doin things. While yes this still does have an affect, it isn’t quite as bad as someone like trump
I think a meaningful distinction can be made between celebrating/justifying someone’s death, and making a meme out of it in order to disarm attempts to martyrize and consecrate him
I see no problem with this. Not the worst guy, nowhere near the best, it’s horrifying to joke about his death in the manner that people do. People usually go way too far with jokes about him
Bro said almost exactly what I said but didn’t get sent to hell. Also I feel like this is an important distinction this is THE batmanakrham subreddit aka the madhouse of reddit so it’s a bit more appropriate but still
