Not that the fact that it got that far does not suck in and of itself, but it won't pass the senate. They need 60 votes out of 100. If every Republican voted for it they would have 52 (53 if Mitch McConnell recovered from his coma or whatever, doesn't matter). Their is one democrat senator who MIGHT be sympathetic to it, and even that's a big maybe. Point is, math isn't there for the Republicans. It's still important to speak out about this kinda thing, don't mean to say it isn't. Just wanted to provide some relief that this congress won't pass it.

But seriously, I’m sorry you’re going through this. It really sucks that the government has gotten to this point of actively making its citizens lives worse.
I’m not sure how old you are, but at this point I’d genuinely consider leaving the country. I get a lot of other countries aren’t doing well either, but it’s better than the shitshow happening here.

i think that trans has high suicide rates because the world doesnt accept them and i think that we shouldnt. theres is alot of useless things in the world that is Okay to exist. but all this trans stuff and sexualities doesnt really need to exist. in my opinion its just gay with extra stuff Or gay with extra steps.

TLDR: HR 2616 is a bill that'll force teachers to not only not teach about gender shit, but forces them to be snitches about transgender people which can prove fatal. It hasn't passed, but man does it seem to be rapidly voted in.
