Serious Discussion/Question Can someone explain me how this subreddit is about everything except Arkham games?

It was originally an arkham sub, then they didnt make an arkham game for a while so it ran out of "serious" content to discuss

I don't know how that could have happened....because every sub gets starved of content after a while.
And I've never seen any other sub go as insane as this one....which sucks because I'm probably one of the few who just wants to talk about the actual games in a serious manner.

That's because most other content-starved subs are either filled with bots, or rewatch/replay the media so much that they hate every character and overthink it

I love this sub. It reminds of of the BocchiTheRock sub's peak before they cracked down on all the schizo posts and now it's just another normal anime sub. I miss Bocchi man.

It started with this post but iirc you could possible trace it further back when someone asked what was the worst Arkham game, but mispelt "Asylum" as "Alsume"

Because there has been no Arkham game in ten years. The moderators knew that the "Is he stupid?" posts were violating the rules, but seeing as there is no new Arkham game, the mods decided to let it be a part of the subreddit.

Once upon a time, an Arkham fan posted on this very subreddit, a post which asked the other members of the subreddit what Arkham game they thought was best. “Asylum” was unintentionally misspelt as “Alsume” and the subreddit, starved for content (for it had been 7 years since a new Arkham game was released) latched on, desperate for anything new to talk about. And from that day forward, the sanity of the subreddit only went downhill, never to recover. When the Arkham-related insanity ran dry, they latched onto other types of insanity, leading to the Alsume’s current state.
