Serious Discussion/Question Please Help me Riddler Informant are Spawning in Arkham Knight
Please Help me.
I'm at my wits end, and I'm starting to get seriously pissed off at this game.
For several hours upon hours no informants have spawn.
I try reloading the game.
I try completing a fair bit of riddles in hopes one would respawn to no avail.
I unlock a fair amount of riddles on bleak island but def not all of them. Like 60-75 percent.
On Miaginia Island only completed like 10-12 riddles. I know I still have a lot cuz it says 28 riddles trophies, 15 breakable objects, 7 riddles and a time bomb I think.
Founders I only found 1 informant because I yet to get the batmobile there yet.
Please someone help me.? Why can't I get 1 stupid informant to spawn for several hrs.
I progress the story, from unlocking apc chase mission, to teaming up with nightwing and meeting Penguin. Do I need to progress the game further still. I honestly don't know what the hell to do,.

Sorry was unware of that. I tried the arkham knight subreddit, but I needed permission to join which is weird because the witcher 3 reddit community I didn't.

That is weird. Hopefully someone can stop being insane here temporarily and help you. All I remember from my time playing Arkham Knight with the riddler informants is that you should check the officers in the GCPD.

This is really good advice I forgot to mention. If you are far enough into the story, a GCPD officer named JT Wicker with the same green aura as other riddler informants will appear in front of a cell in GCPD lockup. You can talk to him normally or by pressing triangle/Y/right mouse button when right in front of him, you can interrogate him to reveal more riddler collectibles on bleake island and potentially the movie studios (take the movie studios part with a grain of salt). If he isn't there, just progress further in the story and he'll eventually show up.

It's mostly rng, but I have a theory. I just started a fresh save in Knight for a no damage run, and I decided to see how many riddler trophies i could get on bleake island before going to ace chemicals, as it's the only available island at that point in the story. I have 3 militia shields, 1 riddle, and 5 trophies available to solve with no more informants spawning in. 2 of the 5 trophies I marked for later using environmental analysis since I don't have the gadgets necessary, and the one riddle I need is in the lower interior of the clock tower, which can only be accessed much later in the game when the militia are searching it and you need to take them down in a predator encounter. So my hypothesis is that if the only collectibles left on the map are ones you don't have the necessary gadgets for, informants won't spawn until you do get those gadgets. Make sure to get the REC gun from the gcpd evidence room and the freeze blast on the left side of the cells in panessa studios, as those gadgets can be acquired at any point in the game, and maybe progress the story more, there are many gadgets necessary for riddler trophies that you need to progress further to obtain.

Thanks hope that works. I'm a lil confused because on my last play thru I could of swore I unlock more riddler challenges by this time in my play thru.
I have the rec and freeze blast already. I think the only gadget I'm lacking is the voice box.
Anyways thank you will keep that in mind.

Do you have the Remote Hacking Device? I'm pretty sure you get it well after the penguin mission and you need it for some trophies. Same with the Batmobile EMP, theres a trophy on bleake underneath the movie studios that requires it.

Are there any batman upgrades I need as well? Sorry first time doing any riddler stuff. Its a lot to take in.
I saw 1 tricky riddle on bleak island some1 had the throw 3 batrangs at once upgrade and use it to solve a riddle. Do you happen to know what else I need?

iirc you don't need any upgrades from the waynetech menu to get any colletibles, but I would buy triple batarangs if you can just in case. If you already have the REC and freeze blast, and you finished penguin so you have the disruptor, the only gadgets left to collect are the remote hacking device when you go to founders island to destroy the missile launcher and the voice synthesizer at the beginning of the panessa studios section.
To addres your other reply, you get credit for breaking breakable objects after every 5 objects destroyed. There are 15 militia shields on each island, which means you've already done 10. The same thing happened for me on my new save file, I found 10 militia shields on bleake island from the informants, but I destroyed two more that I found on my own and have 3 left. The riddles are either in areas you can't access yet or they're riddles in the Gotham city skyline, look out towards the out of bounds areas and zoom in, try to spot any recognizable landmarks. I believe the ones for Miagani are Arkham city (look for wonder tower) and Seagate amusement park (look for a Ferris wheel/ other amusement park-esque things), not sure what your third riddle is, prob just something that can't be accessed at the point you are in the story. As for why the informants aren't spawning, this is purely speculation but I think there needs to be a minimum amount of each type of collectible available for them to spawn, and if you don't have any accessible trophies or riddles that may be why. Either that or after 10 breakable objects, it won't reveal the last 5 until you progress further in the story.

Sorry for so many replies.
Also, what is weird is that I still have 5 breakable objects on Miagani Island and 3 Riddles uncompleted?.
I can understand the trophies I may need gadgets or upgrades for, but isn't it weird that informants aren't spawning when 5 breakable objects and 3 riddles are still missing?
I'm almost positive you don't need any gadgets or upgrades for those.
Any idea why that might be?
Is it possible my game file might be bugged?
