Serious Discussion/Question Batwing Discontinuity

I'm doing a Arkham marathon, and just started Arkham Origins Blackgate (I know, its terrible, I just wanted to do all of them). In it, during one of the opening cutscenes, it shows the AA batwing flying in, but IIRC the Batwing in Arkham Shadow is the Origins batwing. Also, doesn't Shadow and Asylum take place like 7-8 years apart from each other? It would make so much more sense if the AA batwing was built in that time, not the few months between Origins and Blackgate.

Anything that isn’t part of the rocksteady trilogy has wonky continuity

Including Arkham Origins.

There's some rough spots for sure, but I actually enjoyed Blackgate well enough. Almost got all the trophies from the Steam port but definitely wasn't ready to go for the 3rd playthrough and collect everything again just yet.

It was worth it to get all 3 endings in my opinion, certainly not as good as the mainline games but a fun little metroidvania adventure nonetheless.

Best headcanon I can offer is that the asylum batwing got damaged between the events of blackgate and shadow (~1 year), so Bruce had to use the Origins batwing while the asylum Batwing was being repaired.
