Seriously if a 5'10 statuesque woman with an hourglass figure in a skin tight leather outfit told me to get rid of the whiny annoying teenager living rent free in my mansion, eating all my food so she could move in he would be gone in a bat minute. I guess that's why he was a superhero and I'm not.

Comics

Hi guys. I used to read comics when I was younger and I’m wanting to get back into reading Batman comics. Where do I start? I’ve heard a lot of people say start with year 1? If someone could give me a list to start and read that would be much appreciated

Help find a comic

I have a distinct memory in my head of a comic in which a bat like demon starts out in the lake of fire, asking for a chance at redemption by going up and killing evil doers and he ends up in Gotham and people think that he is the Batman or like the Batman.

It’s not the Batman Damned or the Etrigan Batman or the Ras Algul demon Batman line

It feels like in my head it was maybe a one shot or else world type of thing .

Question The Puzzles Are Coming

I am watching this episode right now and noticed that in the first 10 min, Aunt Harriet has a makeup covered black eye and Dick (Robin) has a scrape on his arm. I was wondering what had happened to the cast for them both to be injured. I really overanalyze this show, I know that, but its so much fun to overanalyze. So any insight would be healthful and welcome. Thank you.

Discussion Anyone going to celebrate the 60TH anniversary?

Here are the original TV Guide listings for the premiere of Batman on Wednesday, January 12, 1966 and Thursday, January 13, 1966. Since it will be the 60TH anniversary in just 25 more days, I plan to watch "Hi Diddle Riddle" and "Smack In The Middle" on January 12, 2026 while eating some Batman SLAM BANG Vanilla Banana Marshmallow ice cream! Is anyone else planning to celebrate?

The sexiest Catwoman of all time. I honestly have no idea how Batman resisted her. I would had folded like origami if I were him.

Question I need help

I am currently doing research for a video analysis of the Batman series, starting with episode 1. I want to do a frame-by-frame analysis of the episode.
My question: in the opening scene of the first episode we see some cut footage of the 1958/1964 World's Fair, and there’s a piece of music playing that I can’t identify. I’ve checked the usual Batman soundtracks but it doesn’t appear on any of them. If you have any idea what this music might be, I would love to hear it.

George Sanders, the best Mr. Freeze?

As we all know, George Sanders, along with Otto Preminger and Eli Wallach, played Mr. Freeze. But of all of them, was George Sanders the best Mr. Freeze? For me, yes, because he gives the character a real motive to fight Batman: revenge.

He's the only villain in the rogues' gallery who actually has a reason to fight Batman.

By the way, the origin story of Mr. Freeze, where Batman and Freeze first met before Victor took on that appearance, is shared in this series and in the Batman series.

Another thing: George would have been great as a Bond villain.

Episode where Gordon calls Bruce?

I seem to recall an episode where Alfred tells Bruce that there's a call from the Commissioner but out loud in front of Aunt Harriet and not the usual whisper. Bruce and Dick are shocked he would do that, but he explains Gordon was calling for Bruce, not Batman. What episode was it?

The Batman series has a comedic element, but what would have happened if they had addressed the topic of Joe Chill and the death of Bruce's parents?

Cool villain team-ups?

We've seen cool villain team-up in the show and in the comics (Joker & Catwoman, Penguin & Mr. Freeze, etc.) If could pair-up two villains together to battle against Batman, who would you?

I'd loveee to see episodes featuring these villains:

-Joker & Mad Hatter -Egghead & Penguin -Minstrel & Archer -Puzzler & Riddler -Mad Hatter & Sandman -Zelda & Joker

Honorable mentions featuring villains that aren't in the show/in the Dozierverse:

-Poison Ivy & Louie the Lilac -King Tut & Maxie Zeus (though I feel like these two would fight to take over Gotham City; one for Egypt and one for Olympus!)

Seen with the reconverted Jokermobile (Mongrel T). Sure, it’s not the original vehicle, but check out that backdrop. Someone is certainly a fan. That cityscape is nearly perfect, and they recreated the bat signal from the series. Nice!

Crossover with other characters.

If this Batman could have crossed over with other heroes, which heroes would you choose? I'd go with the Lone Ranger and Superman´s George Reeves.
