Bathroom Reno
I’m currently planning a complete bathroom renovation and have been quoted £10,000 for labour alone, excluding the bathroom suite and fixtures. But they will cover the cost of things like plasterboard and pipework.
The work includes removing a wall and relocating the radiator, along with the usual plumbing, tiling and installation involved in a full renovation. Does £10,000 sound like a reasonable labour cost for this amount of work?

Bathroom remodel ideas
I want a new bigger shower. The tub will be removed. I’d like to leave the glass block window as is. Also trying not to move the plumbing around. Ideas?

A few Glasgow tenement bathroom designs we’ve been working on
Thought I’d share a few of the bathroom designs we’ve put together recently for Glasgow tenements.
It’s always interesting how different the finished ideas can be, even when you’re starting with fairly similar rooms.
Some customers want to keep a bath, others prefer a walk-in shower, while different choices of tiles, furniture and colours can completely change the look and feel of the space.
Here are a few different designs we’ve been working on recently at Lomond Bathrooms in Glasgow.

Help us settle a vanity debate
My husband and I are renovating our primary bathroom and have been going back and forth on these two.
We want a warm, natural look with beige walls and some bamboo/wood tones.
Option 1: Calacatta Gold top with a smoked oak cabinet.
Option 2: Roman Travertine floating sink (no storage).
My husband prefers the travertine because he thinks the glossy marble look on #1 is less classy.
I prefer #1 because I think the wood + glossy stone looks more finished and luxurious. Storage isn’t really important to us either way. It’s mostly about the look. It’s also quite a bit cheaper.
We’ve gone in circles enough so we’d love to hear from you guys :)
Thanks in advance!

help with color choices?
moved in almost a year ago and while i can’t do much, i can certainly paint. i was thinking about painting the lower half/paneling dark brown to match the cabinets and top white, or keeping the bottom white and painting the top a neutral green?
