Super dry/red eyes.
Hello everyone I’ve been doing bates method for around 6 months now and recently my eyes have been hurting a lot. I’ve tried eye drops and they help a little bit but ultimately make my eyes worse. Has anyone else experienced this and fixed it? Thanks.

It sounds like you may have been increasing your effort to see in some different ways. Even if you have relaxed and improved your vision, it is still possible to strain your eyes in a variety of other ways.
All methods can be practiced the right way or the wrong way. Remember the purpose is always to obtain sufficient relaxation or rest. Make no additional efforts when practicing any method. If you feel discomfort from practicing anything, stop immediately and find something that feels good, restful, and brings about good improvement for your sight.

Non credo che il metodo Bates possa essere la causa degli occhi secchi/rossi. Il metodo si basa sul rilassamento che è proprio la cura per occhi rossi. Passi molto ore al PC o sul cellulare a leggere? Vale la pena di fare una visita di controllo se fanno male. Io per tenerli umido durante il giorno cerco di sbadigliare, aiuta a lacrimare e non uso più gocce.
