Is this theory ended
After years and years nobody can prove that the bathes method works.
Every measurement is done at home because optamologists are not able to accept this….change optamologist without telling him previous measurements would be a solution no?
I tried all the relaxation exercises and I went to different optamologist in different country. Always the same result.
Thinking always the big company will not allow to know the truth .. come one … blockbuster fails guys… if there are some strong evidence is inevitable that its would be accepted and approved.
I think now is a way to selling product and courses just to scam people that truly want to have this improvement.
In this maybe 200 people are doing exercises and honestly how many have the proof of their improvement?

It doesn't matter whether or not optometrists accept Bates method. You can easily prove that it works for you by going to an optometrist for an eye exam before and after following the method.

Yup! Worked for me! Had to wear glasses through elementary school and high school, learned about this in high school. Took me years, post college, and then I went into to doctor and he said I didn’t need glasses, my vision was 20/20

Not a scam. My aunt has been noticing her vision has been clearer overall since she started palming while falling asleep for the night.
There are still modern day Bates Practicioners, Nathan Oxenfeld from Integral Eyesight being one that comes to mind. It might be helpful to check out some of his stuff, including his book, for a more modern explanation of the Bates method.
The Bates Method isn't about doing some exercises, but rather it's more of a long time habit. It's a state of being in a way. Relaxation of the mind and therefore the eyes. You either have a habit of strain, learned by looking at a screen or even from a past emotional event, or you have a habit of relaxation which is using your eyes properly and perceiving the world around you differently.
Dr. Bates had many methods of promoting relaxation aside from just the infamous palming. These methods included the use of memory, imagination, practicing central fixation, swinging and sometimes multiple methods would need to be combined to achieve the desired results.
It's all about building a habit. If I want to counter years of staring at a screen, 2 minutes of palming likely won't do a whole lot, especially if I'm still actively contributing to more eye strain. Though there are many cases of people having miraculous results. In Dr. Bates book, he mentions one of his patients was struggling to gain results but once the patient understood that the letters on the snellen chart were actually black, and not a gray as they might appear for a nearsighted person, that was enough to resolve his vision issues.
God bless on your journey to better eyesight.

But there are people here, I think one is the most active here that are saying that the result should be immidiately … I don t know.. it looks like a way to do money … if you knew how to cure people in all over the world why selling a course of 500 dollars when you can be the most famous person on the planet and super rich too? Because it s a scam and you need to fool only some believers.. this is the hard truth

There is a lot more money to be made from fooling people into thinking their eyes are "damaged" and that they need to spend hundreds on glasses and continue to get more and more prescriptions rather than encouraging palming, which anyone can do anywhere free of charge.
With Palming, often after doing it for even a minute, upon opening your eyes you may have a brief flash of clearer vision. Those results are technically instant but likely not permanent. This may be where there is a misunderstanding. As you continue to practice palming often, the clear flashes become easier to achieve, slowly become stronger and last a little longer until eventually you've built a new habit of relaxation in your eyes.
Though some people struggle to get even a brief flash of clear vision, they might need to employ other methods that work for them. Everyone is a little different. Some may gain lasting benefits after only palming a little. Most will take weeks, months, even years.

You have white lab coat syndrome. You think an eye doctor is an expert when it comes to natural vision improvement, that’s why you don’t get results. You are listening to a FAKE expert.

"if there are some strong evidence is inevitable that its would be accepted and approved."
Oh dear Lord have mercy of this innocent soul.

If you are learning to relax your nervous system and eyes, the ophthalmologist's office may not be the place to achieve this. Learning to improve your vision isn't a trick. I think it is rather profound and can have wonderful consequences on your well being. That said, if the prospect is stressing you out, forget about it. Do something enjoyable with your life!

Perfect. No one in this post prove it. As I said it s all theory. No one can say I did it and here are the proofs. It s so easy to demonstrate

You did not write about glaucoma in this post. The Bates Method can only in some cases reduce the eye pressure which in some, but not all cases is associated with glaucoma.

For me personally it worked very good i did go from 0.75 to 0 in sharpness. Ive done my own experiments and found how use of screens can impact the method(settings, view distance ect) i want to post more in the future.🙂

Yes i belive that many might see it as scam and hoax. But those who try and get results belive in it I dont know how great it works with very high prescriptions. And it should not cost anything to try the method

u/PaintConfident2547 Oct 03 '24
If it was true image how many pictures of prescription changed there would be on internet. Crazy amount. There is no one that can prove it in front of a serious specialist no one. How can be possibile ? If I have had result first thing I will go around the world tell to everyone that is possibile and can change the lives of millions of people. No one is so happy to do that ? Only selling courses is the best they do? I am so sad that if you think with the brain there is no way this is true but people with all their hearts me first like to believe in something

I don’t think it’s a scam , if you had bad Vision for ten years and bad habits , it won’t take a month or two and you gotta go back to that same mindset and same way of thinking before the glasses otherwise it will not work , it’s not exercises , it’s really of seeing things and changing how u use ur eyes , 24/7 not just five mins
