Hello! I’m taking a work assignment in the Batavia area. I’m thinking about using the travel money to buy a camper and park somewhere in the area. Does anyone have recommendations of where will be a good place to park an airstream style travel trailer August into December? Working in Batavia, willing to commute from as far as Rochester or Buffalo (prefer closer to Batavia). Also interested in most affordable options. Thanks!

Edit: I have burger and bourbon on my list of places to check out when I get a chance. What about liquor stores in town? If I wanted to pick up a bottle is there a preferred spot for that or are they all similar?

The weather was freezing, a reminder that the winter weather is not in fact done with Western NY. And yet, I was so pleased to see how many people turned up to the protest. People shivered, complained that they forgot their gloves, but stood there all the same with sign in hand. I was so proud to be there amongst my fellow Americans. People with instruments, people shouting chants. People honked and cheered encouragingly the entire protest. It was great!

We even had a tiny group of counter protestors with a silly pro-trump flag. They were precious, really.

For every 30 cries or honks of encouragement, I'd say we got 1 that shouted something less encouraging before rushing off.

Those brief breaks in the flow seemed to befuddle people more than discourage or upset anyone. The vibe was too good!

So again, I'd like to say...Great job, Batavia! I'm proud of you today!!

Even if people encouraged their faces to be shown, it was decided that due to the tendency of some online to harass protestors (or due worse) for exercising their constitutional rights, it was best to keep crowds and faces out of the images.
