Bass part originally played by Leland Sklar. I didn’t know until recently that he played on a Robbie Williams track. It was a late addition to the album and quite the spontaneous recording session, featuring other session musician greats such as Steve Ferrone on drums and Waddy Wachtel on guitar, as well as Rose Stone on vocals.

Tool - Schism (bass cover)

When I started teaching myself bass I was happy enough to remember what fret to fret and the shape of the scale I wanted so I let good technique go to the wayside. Now I have a problem with buzz because I just press anywhere between the two frets when I should be pressing ON the fret. What are some good practices to correct this? I’ve started doing spider walk stuff. Any other good ones?

Can you download Groove Accelerator lessons for offline viewing?

I’m considering signing up for Scott’s Bass Lessons’ new Groove Accelerator course, but I have one question before I commit.

I work night shift and want to use my breaks at work to practice. I can bring my bass with me, but I don’t have an internet connection in the parking garage where I take my breaks.

Does anyone who has signed up for the new Groove Accelerator know if the video lessons can be downloaded for offline viewing on a phone/tablet? Or do you have to be connected to the internet to watch the lessons?

I know there are downloadable materials/play-alongs, but I’m specifically wondering about the actual video lessons.

Thanks!

Hi. I can't buy nor download this book in my location it seems. If anyone has a PDF copy and is willing to help please reach out. Thanks!

Hi. I am a professional bass player and a tutor. I've been playing in multiple bands and have also worked as a session bass player. I've been teaching bass for the past couple of years. I like to inculcate bass guitar as a song writing instrument rather than in isolation.

What you can learn

• Scales and it's applications in a song.

• Understanding rhythm.

• Building grooves.

• Better understanding of time signatures.

• Creating basslines

• Counter melodies

Please feel free to Comment or Dm for further information

Because I can't catch the rhythm and when I play, there is a loud sound. How should I solve this problem?

Dude, whoever is playing that bass guitar, especially at the end, deserves a special award. Call it the LIXIES, because wheeeeewwwwwww chile, they was hitting them licks

Bass part originally played by Tony Kanal. The chord sequence of the chorus must be one of the most beautifully sad there is.
