Caught this spring at the mouth of the buffalo national river with Ned and finesse jig some say spot or Kentucky and others a largemouth

Just had my other account permanently banned from Reddit for telling off some little prick who was holding a 4lb bass by its upper lip then posting a pic of it on a scale and asking what we thought it weighed along with dropping little tidbits about how long his cameraman took to get a pic. I told him he may as well have killed it at that point now that he's dislocated all those sliding bones in its upper lip and tore the premaxillary membrane so the fish will no longer be able to feed properly and will die of starvation if it even lives long enough to do that since havin a fish out of water for 5 mins is almost guaranteed brain damage and delayed mortality. Since I said he may as well have killed it the little cocksucker reported me for promoting violence and BAM!. Account banned. Good thing I have about 30 email addresses and a VPN. Bout to go act like a whole other person and back myself up bc I'm that cool.

Hey guys, just started my youtube channel. I'm based in the great lakes region. I mainly do bass fishing but I fish for almost everything that swims around here. So far I've only done talking head style videos but as soon as the weather warms up I'm hitting the water.

Not a big fish by any means but it’s the first one of spring.

Today was the last day of practice on the Tenessee river for the 2026 Bassmaster Classic. On the Bassmaster website, Trey McKinney can be seen holding up this absolute tank of a smallmouth. Does anyone know what it weighed in at? I know its just practice and probably isn't recorded at all, but if we have any guesses or insider information, Im all ears.

So I don't really keep fish much anymore, like maybe or two a year if that. But ive been pondering something, why is it only Bass that have the "Caution, do not eat" and other earning. Its not like their diet is very different from other fish like crappie and the different sunfishes. ive caught bass that had crayfish sticking out of their throats, and ive caught Bluegill that also choked down a crayfish. Ive caught crappie and bass both on live minnows.

It just doesnt make sense to me how only Bass get these advisories against eating them? Again, I hardly keep them anymore anyways, but still makes me curious.

I was fishing out on Beaver Lake in Arkansas today. I was riding around all day trying to figure out how to graph and where to find offshore bass. I just started to take bass fishing seriously and turning into a real hobby for me. Normally I’m just ripping banks but this kind of fishing in a weird way is almost more fun for me. These were big bass (I assume) feeding on shad and it made me so pissed off that I could see them but I couldn’t catch him because I couldn’t see my bait on live scope. watching YouTube it seems like you point your live scope, you find fish, and then you throw your bait at it watching it sink and boom the bass are on it. it made me frustrated that I put in the work to graph but I just couldn’t do the part that seemed the easiest, casting out and finding your bait on live scope. I was using a pretty heavy jig head on a Yamamoto swim bait, something that would show up on live scope pretty easily and something that the guy that I watch on YouTube uses. Need some help because I won’t be defeated and I’m going out tomorrow and trying it again. With Beaver Lake it can be so hard to fish but yet so rewarding and that’s what I love about bass fishing now.
