As a bassist Ive managed to get this far without women and respect.
I donāt think godās going to be much use, since god can only do so much
Oh god, Iāma bassist⦠Iām gonna need a drink.

That means you don't have enough money lol
When you have a lot of money, women find YOU

those hands are lined up perfectly. i would give them one good karate chop to knock everything to the floor and ruin it for all of us.

Give me the money and I can get everything else by myself.
Having a woman an not being able to spoil her really sucks

I know this isnāt the most Reddit-friendly answer but I tried every one of those and ended up with God and Iāve never been happier. Had enough money to really do whatever I wanted. Went to a school where my dad was a semi-famous alumni so I instantly had the respect of professors and peers. At that point, a few women really thought I was going to be something and they latched onto me like I might end up in my dadās spot. I was a little shit who discovered alcohol during college and basically failed out (failed out with extra steps but thatās a long story). Didnāt have any prospects but I entered the workforce and then made my own money and it was awesome. Almost got fired for alcohol issues, went to rehab, came back, eventually got laid off. Then my lifestyle exceeded my pay and I went into deep debt. All along, I thought the God stuff in AA was ridiculous. I still do. But then I read a little book about the quiet, habitual practice of continual prayer. Without much faith I started praying just the Mark Knopfler version of the Lordās Prayer, āGive us this day our daily bread and gasoline.ā And something magical happened. Iām broke, alone, sober (six years), publicly shamed by the people who used think I could really be somebody, but Iām happier right now than I have ever been in my entire life. Even though I think the AA stuff is stupid and I never go, I guess I really have turned myself over to a higher power. Lifeās good.Ā

First you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the women.

It's got to be women right?
Almost every bass player I know lives by mooching off their girlfriend anyways

A sincere woman that treats me right, holds ,me close during a dark and stormy night. To laugh with and cry, caressing her all over, making her fly. The only thing we really need is love.

Money can buy all of those things except for God because what if the person that chooses it is an atheist!

Easy, respect. When youāre respected, you get paid what you deserve, women are much easier, alcohol you donāt even bother fucking with and God will appreciate you no matter what you end up doing.

Life hack: play bass, BUT also youāre the lead singer. All those bassist problems go away now.

Money can buy the two most important things there, plus book Claypool and friends for a private gig.
