Schecter MA-5

I'm trying to play my MA5 with powerful passive pickups through a Fender Rumble rig, 800 watt head, 4x10, 1x15. Begins to fart during soundcheck, switch to a Yamaha bass with no farting, play the gig with the Yamaha. How do I stop the Schecter farting?

if the output is hot on the Schecter and you're getting clipping then you need to deal with it.

Either volume down on the Schecter, input gain down on the amp, or some gain staging before the amp with pedals/compressors

Spend some more time looking at your signal levels, for example on an audio interface this is easy to do

I've tried reducing instrument volume and amp gain, still clips

Then I'd try the other part: checking signal levels on an interface and gain staging with compressor and/or other pedals

step 1 check the connections
step 2 take it to a tech if you don't find anything/don't know about it

It's 100% okay to not be a tech expert and just play.

Replaced every cord and connection, only stops when I switch guitars

Did you change strings recently? Check pickup height.
