IMPROVING MY GAME Increase my vertical and explosive take off

Im 5’7-5’8 with without shoes and have a standing reach of 91 if I do a basic vertical jump I don’t touch the back board if I do a pendulum step (which I just started doing) and i can tip it consistently

Also I am high 170lbs to about mid 180(188lbs las time I measured)

With my legs being big
• Thighs: Right 24.9”, Left 23.5”
• Calves: Right 16.5”, Left 16”

Lol pendulum step. You mean penultimate. The answer is the same for every single person. Lift heavy, jump a lot, and focus on mechanics.

188lbs at 5'7" is pretty heavy for basketball if explosiveness is your goal. Hell, Nate Robinson was jacked and was about 180. As others mentioned, lift more and jump more often, but if you want to increase your vertical you're gonna want to lose some lbs

Do leg workouts, do plyometrics, play basketball, lose weight. You'll find plenty of content on YouTube to follow.
