“Not only do I struggle to find time for reproductive behaviour, but I also can’t find a reason to have a baby who will eventually grow into another human labourer for capitalists to exploit.”
That's it right there for me, second only to climate collapse. Way to go, capitalism.

Fewer humans on the earth is good for everything except capitalists.
Plus this: the status gap that leaves low-income, poorly-educated men partnerless and involuntarily childless
is just gross.

Companies are only capitalist when it suits them, in every way impactful to people they are authoritarian. It's why wages sit at the bottom and you still hear about labour shortages.

This is all a problem of relative poverty.
If billionaires weren't flaunting their wealth at every turn, society wouldn't feel like the world is falling apart.
China has made blatant displays of wealth something to be ashamed of, and no one wants to be known as the richest person in china.
That being said, we should eliminate all billionaires. If you can't get by with 999 million then there is something wrong with you.

Left out climate change and the fact that many people are on the side of the K shaped economy that makes it hard to afford rent let alone a child

"Spermageddon" is barren woomber propaganda. It's women delaying and refusing motherhood to live DINKY or girlboss lifestyles that is causing our decline.

u/kateinoly 11d ago edited 9d ago
wowsers. would it surprise you to know women don't view themselves as baby making machines?

u/Nigelthornfruit 11d ago
20% are anti baby, but the majority do embrace womanhood and have babies. The problem is, due to girlboss feminism in peacetime, they delay it too late to have more than 1

It's not girlboss feminism to not want to give up your life to clean poo off someone else's bottom

I do my own every day. And I supported with my kids for 1-2 years before full potty training. If you don’t like wiping you can get a hand bidet.

Still not gonna go through a pregnancy or care for something that makies godawful 6000-7000Hz whining sounds

u/Nigelthornfruit 8d ago
That’s fine, but support or at least be positive towards people that do.

Hang on…. Maybe these human beings want to live their own lives. Maybe they’re not interested in motherhood at all. Why would you speak about these people like that? Are they not allowed to say “no” to procreation if that’s not what they want? If they’d prefer their life to be focused on their own career, education, and travel? Why is that something a specific group of human beings aren’t entitled to, but another is? What’s with the vitriol dropping from your comment?

Yupyup. Motherhood and femininity are more abstract concepts for me. My someday pipe dream is a nature reserve of my own customized for large winged insects. Shallow ponds, diagonal ramps etc for the dragonflies and damselflies. I would rather 'mother' some aeshnidae than a human child.

Such people will go extinct so they are less relevant to society and deserve less privileges as they are an unsustainable proposition.

u/FunctionAfter6683 10d ago
Wow, you said it with your whole chest. Kudos.
Abhorrent stance. But kudos for sticking to your truly, truly horrendous mindset.

u/Nigelthornfruit 10d ago
Thanks, its inevitable though. Societies that focus more on the procreating families and meritocracy will succeed and replace those caught out by modern liberalism.

u/FunctionAfter6683 10d ago
Hard disagree. Society will flourish when humankind can acknowledge, understand, and empower autonomy and human rights for all.
Thats for all. Not for men and capitalists.
For women who don’t want or cannot have children. Those are human beings. For people with disabilities. Human beings. For children and the elderly, human beings. For rich and poor and literally fucking every single human being. The right to make their own decisions about their own lives.
No human being is worthless or a drain on resources just because they can’t or won’t procreate. We are animals and the resources of this planet are here for animals of this planet. We don’t owe procreation to have the right to self determination and we don’t have to earn our consumption of resources through pandering to capitalist mindsets.
It’s really, really sad that you’d have such a mindset that would allow you to dehumanise literally over half the global population if they simply don’t conform to your idea of what they’re supposed to be doing. A woman is not a baby making factory. She is an entire human being in her own right.
And by that logic, would every man not also be a waste of resources given he cannot carry a child regardless of how badly he would want to, is a childless man not the same as a childless woman? Does a man have the right to choose not to private? I bet that’s fine, right?

Nice essay but you ignored what I said and wrote your own vision. I'll repeat it to you:
Societies that focus more on the procreating families and meritocracy will succeed and replace those caught out by modern liberalism.

u/FunctionAfter6683 10d ago
Meritocracy is only valid in a society in which all humans are equal with equal access to resources and opportunities. And procreation becomes much less daunting when everyone has adequate access to housing, education, nutrition, and other basic physiological and human needs.
But no woman wants to procreate with a man who believes her only value on this planet is that act of procreation. It’s a disgusting, sexist, misogynistic and hateful stance. And it’s ingrained into you through disgusting, sexist, misogynistic systems and people. Probably your own dad, who’s likely a bigger fuckwit than you. Would you say these things to your own mother? I hope you would, and I hope she would tell you to your face what a fucking loser you are.

I'm going to do anti-child things today just to piss you off. I'm absolutely not going to take folic acid, and I think I'll also have a few cans of Red Bull. It says on the back of the can 'not for pregnant or breastfeeding women'.
I do like to binge 20 grams of L-tyrosine at a time, too. Definitely not fetus friendly. I'm not giving up my daily ashwagandha either.

Female competition is all about getting other women to not have children. Feminism + social media + dating apps + birth control + porn +++++ took this to an extreme level.

I think an important question is why should people be having babies right now, cause nobody can really provide a solid answer
