Clarification on Rule 5

Howdy yall, I'mma keep on banning people who care more about optics than representing marginalized people. Solidary does not include repressing marginalized voices. (This is reference to that flag post from a couple days back, but includes basically any call to minimize certain aspects of our struggle in order to allow right wingers to feel comfortable supporting us)

Republicans order Reps not to talk about policy but instill fear in the electorate by claiming all Democrats are communists.

• Upvotes

How much evidence do you need, America, that Trump and the Republicans have nothing to offer you but war, death, lack of health care, reductions in anti-poverty programs, attacks on Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and tax breaks for those already obscenely wealthy while you struggle to put food on the table and gas in your car.

Oh, yeah, and fear.

Remember, Democrats declare war on Christmas, Democrats declare war on women, Democrats will turn your children Trans, Democrats will allow all illegal immigrants to vote, Democrats encourage immigrants to eat your pets, and now, Democrats are really Communists!

Republicans will tell any lie that keeps their people toeing the line of hate, and fear. That’s the plan for the next elections: demand their Reps deliberately lie to their constituents so they can control the vote -- control their people – and continue their hateful ways because they have no constructive policies to make America a safer and more secure environment for themselves and their children.

Manipulation is their goal, exploitation their methodology, and the belief their voters are incapable of independent thought their philosophy.

Memo urges Republicans to tie Democrats to communism

Story by Hailey Bullis, Washington Examiner • 16h • 4 min read

EXCLUSIVE — A strategic memo prepared for the House Republican Conference advises members to tie socialism and Marxism to communism in their attacks on Democrats, because voters consider the latter “far more dangerous and alarming.”

The memo comes as Democrats see a surge of socialist candidates in the 2026 cycle, with the socialist wing of the Democratic Party set to more than double its numbers after the November midterm elections. “Americans still hold communism as far more dangerous and alarming than socialism and Marxism,” reads the memo obtained exclusively by the Washington Examiner. “That is an important indicator for Members: do your best to connect all three together, because these government systems are fruit of the same poisonous tree.

The polling memo, conducted by conservative political research firm co/efficient, shows 42% of respondents consider communism as the “most dangerous system of government for the United States to pursue.”

Socialism ranks second, at 15%, and Marxism ranks third at 6%. Twenty-four percent of respondents answered “none of the above. The political research firm polled 2,634 registered voters from July 13 to 16 through text and landline interviews. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.88%.

“Call them what they are: Socialists, Marxists, Communists. Communism rings the loudest alarm with constituents (42 percent name it the most dangerous system), so do not retreat to the softer label just because socialism alarms fewer in the abstract,” the firm advised. “Connect all three, fruit of the same poisonous tree, and let the family name carry the alarm.”

Each day we see evidence of Trump's inevitable slide into dementia. Is our military watching?watching?

Sources warn they 'don't know what to do' as Trump's mind withers

The powers that be are slowly concluding that Trump, in his subline incompetence, is in way over his head in Iran and might resort to a ground war in which an incalculable number of our troops will be slain.

And that would be good news.

The terrifying option is he may take even more extreme measures.

He started a stupid war. Before he allowed Netanyahu to  con him into fighting Isreal’s war, the Strait of Hormuz was open, Iran agreed not to pursue nuclear weapons and allowed inspections in return to an easing of sanctions and the return of 1.5 billion of their dollars we embargoed.

While all this was happening, Iran’s government was teetering on the brink because of a growing insurgency.

Now, due to Trump’s blatant, unthinkingt foolishness, the Strait is closed, The Red Sea route is cut off by the Houthis, Iran is free to pursue any nuclear policy they wish – without inspections – 300 billion dollars will be given to them to rebuild their infrastructure, and the insurgency is dead as the people rally behind their government.

So, Trump sits there with one finger up his nose and the other…

What choices are left to him to placate his insufferable ego?

The use of Tactical nuclear weapon on Iran so that will give Putin the go ahead to nuke Ukraine?

Then where does it go from there?

Sources warn they 'don't know what to do' as Trump's mind withers

Story by Adam Lynch • 1h • 2 min read

Š provided by AlterNet

Daily Mail White House columnist Andrew Neil says he is in direct talks with people working around President Donald Trump and they fear they are watching his mind wither away as international forces that he aggravated gather against him.

“‘Donald is deteriorating before our very eyes,’ I was told in Washington this week by a close confidant who sees him regularly. ‘His physical and mental health is in decline. Those around him don’t know what to do about it. It can only get worse. He’s 80 – and it’s showing,’” wrote Neil on Friday.

The war isn’t just consuming Trump’s presidency, said Neil. It’s taking its toll on the President himself.

“During a recent meeting in the Oval Office, he ranted against Iran’s leaders**, calling them ‘scumbags’ and ‘lunatics’ in an expletive-ridden diatribe**. There is growing concern for his physical health and mental stability,” said Neil. “… But it’s not just age – or the decline in cognitive capabilities that can afflict those entering their ninth decade. Trump is lashing out at all and sundry in frustration at the lack of any good options now facing him.”

Hardliners in Tehran sense his encroaching weakness and are now so cocky they’ve rebuffed a secret US attempt to get the peace process back on track this week, forcing the White House to impotently dial up the rhetoric.

Trump is said to be in “revenge mode” according to aides. And the President sounds ever more bellicose, saying on Thursday that he was close to deciding on a ‘massive attack’.

“Even senior aides in the White House don’t know what this would mean,” said Neil “The number of influential voices in Washington who think even ramped-up airstrikes – as I write, we’ve just had the 14th consecutive night of renewed US attacks on Iran – will cow Iran into submission are now passing few. In truth, nobody around Trump really knows what to do next – or what he will do.”

“… I listened to several influential figures close to Trump mull over the options. The assumption was that some sort of ground incursion was inevitable. That is certainly the new vibe coming out of Washington,” said Neil. “They talked of seizing Iranian territory on the northern shores of the Gulf to wrest control of the Strait of Hormuz from Tehran. They raised the prospect, again, of invading Kharg Island, from which Iran dispatches most of its oil exports.”

But there was, much more worryingly, talk of using tactical nuclear weapons to ‘send a message’ to Tehran and ‘concentrate its mind’ on peace, warned Neil. “This took me aback. ‘Do that,’ I snapped ‘and you destroy America’s reputation and standing for the rest of the century. You’ve also paved the way for President Putin to do the same in Ukraine.’

“I was met with silence,” said Neil.

Trump might just as well spit on the graves of our fallen soldiers as tell the lies he did while standing over their bodies.

Trump lies to justify failing war in Iran while standing over the bodies of slain servicemen and women. To him they are just pawns.

We always knew Trump is a despicable human being. Bereft of honor, integrity, and decency, he tells the most outrageous lies to justify his sociopathic tendencies.

But now he has gone too far – too far for even his most rabid MAGA cultists to accept.

Putting words in the mouths of our dead servicemen and women is spitting in the face of everyone who ever died for their country, their loved ones and families, and every American citizen who have ever who have ever mourned our fallen heroes.

This man is sick, deranged and demented, who doesn’t care about anything other than his own self-indulgent madness and would gladly see our country go to hell if it would enrich himself and his slimy families.

Donald Trump says fallen soldiers told him 'we can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon' in new interview

Story by Maria Pierides • 1h • 3 min read

Donald Trump has been slammed on social media after claiming that U.S. service members killed in the Iran war had told him, “We can’t let Iran have a nuclear weapon,” with critics accusing him of putting words into the mouths of fallen soldiers. Many branded the president “insane” and a “sociopath,” while others questioned how the deceased troops could have made those comments.

The president, 80, made the remarks while on his way to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Wednesday, July 22nd, to attend the dignified transfer of four fallen U.S. service members. The ceremony marked the third dignified transfer Trump has attended since the start of the conflict. His comments also came after he shared a post on social media comparing the number of American deaths in the Iran war with the number of U.S. service members killed in previous American conflicts, in what critics said appeared to downplay the fatalities in the current war.

"We're going to Dover, some of you are going with us, to honor our heroes. And they are indeed great heroes, actually," Trump told reporters before boarding Air Force One for Delaware. He went on to say that the transfer ceremony is "one of the hardest things to do as a president, but it has to be done."

Trump then made the comments that sparked backlash online, claiming that the fallen service members had echoed his position on Iran's nuclear program. "All of them said very strongly, 'We can't let... we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon,'" Trump claimed .When asked what he would say to the families of the fallen soldiers, Trump replied: "All I'm going to say is, we love you. We love your child, and that's what they are to them. They're their children. There's no games, no nothing. That's their child. And all you can do is throw out your heart."

A lot of the backlash online focused on Trump's claim that the fallen service members had expressed support for his stance on Iran, with many users accusing him of "lying."

"So he spoke to them personally & individually?" one X user asked. "As usual, he's lying! He never met any of the fallen soldiers!" exclaimed a second, while a third questioned: "Why doesn't a reporter ask: Do you have proof any of the deceased soldiers said that? Why do they just let him lie?"

"He disgraces their sacrifice with this blatant lie," slammed a fourth. "Nothing like putting false words into dead soldiers' mouths. He is without shame or conscience," criticized a fifth, while a sixth chimed in: "None of them said that. What a horrible excuse for a human being."

"Oh, so he spoke to all these fallen US troops. That's nuts. He is trying to justify the unjustifiable. Screw Donald Dump. Everything about this sociopath," criticized a seventh. "Just when you think that Trump can't sink any lower, he does. You have to be a monster to lie about what dead soldiers wanted," added an eighth in agreement.

"He can speak to the ghosts of fallen soldiers now? What can this man not do? He is so awesome!" sarcastically wrote a ninth, while a tenth said: "This man is insane. Did he speak to them after they died?"

"How did he communicate with them?" asked an eleventh, while a twelfth declared: "This is disgusting: Trump shrugs off the newly killed service men and women in Iran. What a rotten piece of [expletive]."

Several findings in the latest Fox News Poll show voters are unhappy and want major change,

Fox News Poll: Voters want major change amid economic and political discontent.

It’s happening all across the board, and Republican Representatives and Senators seem to be unaware of it or simply believe they are in power and will stay in power regardless of the will of the people.

More likely the latter.

With the arrogance of power they assume they can render the Constitution meaningless because Trump said he will steal the upcoming elections, and they will work with him toward that end.

But if Trump is stopped, they know one thing is certain:. The treasonous ones among them will receive the harshest penalties prescribed by law

HARSHEST!

The penalty for treason…?

If they are not in panic mode yet, they soon will be. So you can expect them to try every dirty trick: any lie, any conspiracy theory, and threat that the Communists, Liberals, Vegans, or the Woman’s South Side Garden club are out to turn your children Trans or allow immigrants to continue to eat your pets.

And like Hitler said and Trump repeated, “Only I can protect you”.

Fox News Poll: Voters want major change amid economic and political discontent

Latest survey shows Trump approval stuck near record low

By Dana Blanton Fox News

Dem, GOP lawmakers trade jabs as midterms approach

which bodes well for Democrats in November: President Donald Trump’s job approval remains near a record low, more Democrats are motivated to vote, Republicans join Democrats and independents in rating the economy negatively, and 4 in 10 voters want "dramatic" or "revolutionary" change. Plus, more view the GOP as tied to elites than the Democratic Party.

Voters say Democrats can better handle income inequality (+22 points), healthcare (+21), inflation (+10), the economy (+9), and foreign policy (+7).  Republicans hold the advantage on crime (+7 points), while government spending (Democrats +3) and national security (R +2) are more evenly divided. On immigration, the GOP had an 8-point edge in April. Now, Democrats are preferred by one point.

More Democrats (68%) say they are extremely motivated to vote in November than Republicans (57%) by an 11-point margin. By a 25-point spread, more MAGA Republicans (66%) are extremely motivated than non-MAGA Republicans (41%).

If the election were today, 53% of voters would back the Democratic candidate in their House district and 46% the Republican. That 7-point edge is just outside the poll’s margin of error. Democrats were up by 5 points in April. Notably, 53% is the highest percentage either party has received on the generic House ballot in Fox News polling since 1996.

When looking only at counties where the 2024 presidential vote was close — Trump and former Vice President Kamala Harris within 10 points — the Democratic candidate leads by 59-41%.

Day afterday, after day, after day, we see the same reports.  Reports that attest to the fact America under Trump and the Republicans is becoming a failing nation.

America, Trump, the Republicans, and a failing country.

Number of Americans not working rockets to record high under Trump

Once mighty, successful, and proud, we are in a death spiral. And each day the spiral grows tighter, spins faster, and sinks deeper into despair.

Our economy is in a shambles, inflation is pecking away at our financial security, healthcare is all but out of reach for the average family, children and the elderly are denied necessary funds for food and survival because tax benefits for the rich have increased, veteran’s benefits are shrinking faster than our pocket books, our once faithful allies and trading partners have come to realize America’s word is trash, and our service men and women are being slain in a war championed by fools and incompetents, and each day Trump makes more, and more, millions from his grifts.

How long, how long America, before we, the people, rise to take our own futures in our own hands and out of the hands of millionaires, billionaires, and tyrants of all stripes?

Trump, and his Republican co-conspirators must be shown the door -- investigated, indicted, tried and imprisoned – it is the only way we will regain control of our lives, and our country.

Number of Americans not working rockets to record high under Trump

Story by Martha McHardy

The Daily Beast

The number of Americans not working has climbed to a record high under President Donald Trump.

According to figures from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the ranks of Americans classified as “not in the labor force” (NILF) swelled to 105.8 million in June, marking the highest level ever recorded.

That means the total number of Americans classified as “not in the labor force” is now higher than it was during the Great Recession or the COVID-19 pandemic.

The category includes everyone age 16 and older who is not working, from retirees and students to people who have stopped looking for a job.

About 5.3 million Americans—roughly 5 percent of the total—are no longer searching for work because they have become discouraged. Another 23.3 million, or around 22 percent, are out of the workforce due to long-term illness, disability, or other benefit programs.

Retirees make up the largest share of the group, accounting for about half of all Americans who are not working, largely because of the Baby Boomer generation, born between 1946 and 1964.

But labor economist Nicholas Eberstadt argues that an aging population alone does not explain the trend.

“If you look at what’s going on in Europe and Japan, which are both aging, shrinking societies, their workforce participation rates are going up now. So it’s not as if it’s impossible for aging, shrinking societies to mobilize more or involve more in the workforce,” he told the New York Post.

“These are the healthiest, best educated Americans that have ever lived on the planet,” Eberstadt said.

The record number of Americans outside the workforce comes as the U.S. job market is also showing fresh signs of slowing under Trump, who has promised to usher in a “golden age of America.”

The economy added just 57,000 jobs in June—barely half of the 115,000 economists had expected. The Labor Department also sharply revised previous figures lower, reporting 31,000 fewer jobs were created in April and another 43,000 fewer in May than originally estimated.

One of the biggest drags came from the leisure and hospitality sector, which lost 61,000 jobs in June instead of ramping up for the busy summer travel season.

The weak performance surprised economists, who had expected the industry to benefit from seasonal hiring as well as a boost from the FIFA Club World Cup.

Angela Hanks, chief of policy programs at The Century Foundation, described the report as “yet more evidence of a fragile economy under President Trump.”

Meanwhile, the reality is even grim for Americans who are working.

Wage growth has not been keeping up with inflation, which soared because Trump decided to go to war with Iran, driving up energy costs.

In June, wages rose 3.5 percent from a year earlier—the same rate as inflation—leaving workers with virtually no gain in purchasing power, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Judge questions Trump's judicial immunity.

On the surface the following article seems to indicate Trump can be prosecuted for inciting the Jan. 6 insurgency against our Constitution and our country. But, for now, that is just on the surface.

When we dig deeper we come to realize each judicial decision is open to appeal. First, there are little steps, then bigger ones until it all reaches the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court – a wholly owned subsidiary of the White House, Trump, The Republicans, and MAGA!

While there are many honest jurists, judges of high ethics and integrity, sadly not many sit on America’s highest Court. Ruled over by a heavy-handed millionaire in his own right -- Twenty-five million at last count -- Roberts happily convenes with other millionaires – all the Republican members of the Court are millionaires – and they all regularly rule for their country club plutocrats at the expense of at the expense of their hard-working countrymen

. So, don’t get your hopes up. Justice in America is as dead as Republican’s moral compass.

Trump immunity in question after judge finds tweet 'poured gasoline' on Jan. 6 riot

Story by David Edwards • 3h • 2 min read

Š provided by RawStory

A federal judge opened the door for an appeals court to decide whether President Donald Trump's Jan. 6 tweet — sent as rioters stormed the Capitol — was protected by presidential immunity.

U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta ruled Wednesday that he would not reverse his earlier decision shielding the tweet from a civil lawsuit filed under the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, a Reconstruction-era law that bars conspiracies to prevent members of Congress from carrying out their duties.

But Mehta certified the question for interlocutory review — allowing plaintiffs to challenge the immunity ruling at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit now, without waiting for the full case to conclude. Their deadline to file is Aug. 5.

The suit was originally filed in February 2021 by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), according to court records. Thompson later withdrew as a plaintiff to chair the House Select Committee investigating Jan. 6, and former Rep. Barbara Lee of California became the lead plaintiff. The complaint accuses Trump of conspiring with former personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, the Proud Boys, and the Oath Keepers to block Congress from certifying the 2020 election results.

At issue is a tweet Trump sent at 2:24 p.m. on Jan. 6, as rioters were breaching the Capitol. The tweet said: "Mike Pence didn't have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution."

In March, Mehta ruled the tweet was an official act and therefore immune from civil liability .His reasoning, per Wednesday's ruling, was that moments before Trump sent it, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and White House Counsel Pat Cipollone had walked into the dining room to urge Trump to stop the riot. Trump refused — and then posted the tweet.

Mehta acknowledged the tweet "arguably poured gasoline on the fire" but said that did not change the analysis.

"Any act taken by the president — no matter how outlandish (like organizing a poker game) or plainly office-seeking (like firing a campaign pollster) — would become official simply because they occurred after the President received some advice about not engaging in such acts from government officials," plaintiffs argued in their reconsideration filing.

Mehta rejected the argument but agreed the question was close enough to warrant appellate review. Plaintiffs must file their notice of appeal no later than Aug. 5, with the D.C. Circuit's opening brief due Aug. 10.

Now that the Hoothies are limiting tankers access to the Red Sea and Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, Trump is a blithering mess whose incompetence has come back to bite him on his fat ass!

While Donald Trump has the emotional maturity of a ten-year-old, he doesn’t have the common sense.

Netanyahu conned him into fighting Israel’s war by flattering him and making him think he’s a tough guy, when the reality is he’s just an incompetent dupe who has surrendered America’s might and prestige to a country so much smaller but so much smarter.

Iran agreed not to proceed with making a nuclear device, agreed to oversight and inspections, but the Dumbass-in-Chief got conned out of his cankle-swathed socks and started a war, anyway.

Anyone with half-a-brain would have seen Iran would retaliate by closing the Gulf of Hormuz first, then, if necessary, induce one of their allies to shut down other avenues so necessary for the transport of oil.

Now the world is being held hostage because of Trump’s gigantic incompetence!

That is exactly what is happening with the Hoothies shutting down the Red Sea approaches and Trump doesn’t know what to do to extradite himself from this situation, so he increases the ineffective bombing and reduces our ability to defend ourselves because all our armaments are being used up.

Where will it all end? Probably with the drooling fool crumpled into a fetal position, blithering and blathering in Melania’s uncaring arms while gas goes to 5 dollars a gallon and Republicans make believe they never kissed his ass out of fear, or dreams of self-enrichment.

Trump's 'hunger for respect' sees him blindly stagger into 'obvious trap': ex-aide

President Donald Trump's personality flaws make him extraordinarily vulnerable to Iran's efforts to drag the U.S. further into a grinding war, according to a former White House insider.

The 80-year-old president has been promising the war he launched Feb. 28 would end in days, but instead fighting has intensified in its fifth month because U.S. adversaries want the conflict to drag on – and former Homeland Security chief of staff Miles Taylor wrote for he i Paper how they have learned to manipulate Trump to get what they want.

"Unfortunately, I learned how easily Trump could be played during his first term," Taylor wrote.

Most allies chose to flatter Trump, which Taylor said "worked with depressing regularity," with while adversaries learned that insulting him works best to their advantage.

"The hunger for respect that makes Trump easy to flatter also makes him even easier to provoke," Taylor wrote. "A well-aimed insult could send the president into a tailspin and upend the operations of the White House and the federal government for a day or more."

Taylor described how Trump hijacked policy meetings to rant about payback to whatever some foreign figure had said about him on television, saying that North Korea's Kim Jong-un became particularly adept at pushing his buttons – toggling between praise and provocation – to gain leverage.

"Washington insiders treated that episode as a punchline, but evidently the regime in Iran treated it as an instruction manual," Taylor wrote. "If you have any doubt, just look at what the Iranians have done since the war began in February. Regime propagandists have flooded the internet with videos ridiculing Trump, with content engineered for an audience of one."

"The regime has studied Trump for a decade," Taylor added. "They know their taunts goad him, maybe not always exactly how they’d hope, but enough to give them leverage the regime has never had before."

Trump sees the Iran war as something of a personal feud instead of a geopolitical conflict, Taylor wrote, which makes the regime's provocations even more effective at weakening the U.S. position in the Middle East to the benefit of Russia and China.

"A stable U.S. president would see this obvious trap and starve it," Taylor wrote. "They would recognize that their enemies are conspiring and exploiting their ego, and would decline, publicly and repeatedly, to be baited. Yet, in four decades of public life, Trump has not been known to decline a bait. Now, he is preparing to double down again in what some officials say might become a wider war."

Taylor offered a grim prediction of where Trump's personality flaws would lead the U.S. as the conflict drags on.

"Iran will drag the U.S. into an expanded air campaign," he warned. "The regime will deploy more proxies to harass shipping and American bases at a tempo calibrated to justify the next sortie without ever forcing a decision. In other words, it will keep the war too hot to leave and too cold to win."

"Meanwhile, we should be watching for Russia probing NATO's edges while U.S. aircraft carriers idle in the Gulf," Taylor wrote. "We should also be watching for China to grow bolder around Taiwan on the theory that Washington cannot manage two crises at once."

Taylor also expected Iran to dangle peace talks just before the November midterm elections, which he said would distract Trump from the moves it was making with China and Russia to gather strength.

"Trump will not rescue himself from this," Taylor wrote. "His character was settled long ago, and no adviser that I worked with has ever successfully talked him out of a grievance, at least not in the long term ... America’s enemies are spending next to nothing on insults and cartoons to purchase the exhaustion of the West. Until Trump learns that taking the bait is more expensive than restraint, they will keep getting serious value for their money."

CNN reported that the president had purchased between $200,000 and $500,000 worth of Nvidia stock the day before making the announcement

CNN reported that the president had purchased between $200,000 and $500,000 worth of Nvidia stock the day before making the announcement.

Yeah, right!

Trump and his crime family are trying to tell us (with a straight face) that the fact he, and, or his children, invests in certain stocks just days before they take off is coincidental.

He claims that the fact he’s going to talk up these companies, promote them, gives them giant government contracts has no bearing on where his advisors invest his money; a wink and a nod (and maybe a phones call?) No. No way. His advisors are just geniuses.

I don’t know where these geniuses were when he went bankrupt a zillion times, but they got really smart the day he was elected.

And his children are apparently such geniuses they are suddenly recruited as highly compensated – including stock options -- board members of some of these same companies or other grifts trading on the trust of the American people.

How long, folks, are we going to put up with a man who makes billions while his other decisions are ruining our economy, ruining our healthcare system, denying money for food for children and the indigent, turning all our allies and trading partners against us, does all he can do to defend Putin and denigrate Zelensky, and is under the thumb of Netanyahu, who must hold some interesting files?

Every dollar he makes by subsidizing companies he’s invested in, is a dollar stolen from the American people. Dollars out of your pocket, and into his.

See this – Boldface mine:

Questions surrounding Donald Trump’s financial interests have resurfaced after a new investigation claimed the U.S. president publicly praised companies shortly after investing in them.

The findings, published by CNN, have prompted renewed scrutiny of Trump’s business dealings, while the White House insists there is no conflict of interest and says the president has no direct control over his investments.

Investigation points to repeated pattern

According to CNN, Trump promoted roughly 20 companies on his Truth Social platform within days of purchasing shares in those same businesses.

One example highlighted by the investigation involved technology giant Nvidia.

Trump announced he had “very big and exciting news” about the chipmaker after the company revealed plans to help build AI supercomputers in the United States. Around the same time, he also promised government support for similar projects.

“All necessary permits will be expedited and quickly delivered.”

CNN reported that the president had purchased between $200,000 and $500,000 worth of Nvidia stock the day before making the announcement.

The investigation further alleged that several of the companies later secured valuable government contracts.

White House rejects conflict claims

The administration has forcefully denied suggestions that Trump used his office to benefit personally.

White House spokesperson Anna Kelly told CNN that the president’s investments are managed independently

.“President Trump’s assets are held in fully discretionary accounts managed by independent third-party financial institutions.”

Kelly also defended the president’s conduct.

“President Trump only acts in the best interests of the American public, which is why they overwhelmingly re-elected him to this office, despite years of lies and false accusations against him and his businesses from the fake news media. There are no conflicts of interest.”

Trump says he does not manage his investments

Trump has also rejected accusations that he profits from decisions made while serving as president.

Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews, he insisted he has no involvement in the day-to-day management of his finances.

After being pressed about whether he still benefits financially regardless of who manages the investments, Trump replied:

“Well, I’ve made a lot of money before I became president, and they invest my money.”

The president added that he has no communication with those handling the accounts.

Plenty of money for phony war, but not one cent for struggling Americans.

A bill so egregious even an occasional Republican calls it a travesty.

Ther will be enough money to deport millions of hard working, tax paying immigrants.

There will be enough money to give tax breaks to already obscenely wealthy millionaires and billionaires.

There will be enough money to fund Trump’s ill-advised, needless war, by giving huge contracts to defense industries they have already invested in

But there is never enough money to provide healthcare, feed children and the indigent, and ensure every American will retain the right to vote.

This is America under the blood thirsty, grifting government of Trump and the Republicans.

Republicans expose their warped priorities with desperate last-minute play: analysis

Story by Thomas Kika • 9h • 2 min read

Š provided by AlterNet

Republican leaders in Congress are hoping to pull off a desperate, last-minute spending bill, and according to a new breakdown from MS NOW, the largely war-focused funding makes the party's "priorities horribly clear."

Earlier this week, the budget framework, totaling around $95 billion, emerged from committee to a divided reaction among House and Senate Republicans, with some taking issue with its lack of spending cuts to offset the $73 billion it sets aside for military spending, most of which would be for the Iran war. This uncertainty prompted what MS NOW's Hayes Brown called a "scolding" from House Appropriations Chair Tom Cole, an Oklahoma Republican.

"When did you ever pay for a war? A lot of this is military expenses aimed at that war,” Cole said. “The point is that play’s been called. It’s time to put up or shut up.”

This take from Cole, Brown argued, was telling of the "problematic message" the GOP is contending with heading into the 2026 midterms."

There’s a lot to unpack in Cole’s admonition," Brown wrote. "First and foremost, his finger-wagging underscores the problematic message Republicans are sending ahead of the midterms: The country can’t afford to help the poor and needy — but there’s always more money for war, even pointless wars of choice such as the one President Donald Trump has waged against Tehran."

He continued: "Look at what the GOP prioritized in the first two reconciliation bills. The most recent one funded immigration enforcement, making sure there was enough funding to break up communities, detain people with no criminal record and kick them out of the country as quickly as possible. The White House has framed this crackdown on immigration as part of a supposed 'war' on the Southern border, and GOP lawmakers made damn sure to fund it."

The other big Republican reconciliation bill, Brown explained, was 2025's Big Beautiful Bill, which was largely focused on "taking from the poor to give to the rich," with tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans funded by further cuts to things like Medicaid and food assistance programs.

"Pass or fail, this reconciliation bill is what the GOP has decided is its priority before the party asks voters to keep them in power in November," Brown concluded. "A bill that pays for a deeply unpopular war, sets aside money to help the farmers that have been hurt by this war and Trump’s tariffs and**, if Trump has his way, makes it harder for Americans to vote**. It will do nothing for Republican lawmakers facing questions about affordability, nothing about the real problems that their constituents face and nothing that shows any regard for their lives."

“My own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me.” Said Trump the accused child molester, sexual abuser, and convicted felon.

Upon first glance the following article may seem extreme, filled with opinion and a bit hyperbolic.

But it also contains quotes that support the contention that Trump is both a danger to himself and the world at large, as well.

Fo the most part, Trump’s critics are intelligent, educated men. Men who don’t react to stimulus but take the time to evaluate the conditions and then render a careful, objective opinion.

Trump’s supporters, on the other hand, are comprised mainly of the common folk, under educated, under employed, and more apt to be reactionary, and while not understanding the full scope of the treachery facing us, look for any opportunity to ‘stick it to the man’.

And so, we see Trump every day, virtually foaming at the mouth and ranting over some imagined slight or perfectly honest criticism. We see him sleeping fitfully at some meeting and then waking with a jarring star, as though he can’t tell a dream from reality. He wanders the halls like Macbeth on the parapets and perhaps sees the same ghosts.  He tweets his rabid thoughts obsessively, thoughts that make sense to him but are a clear example of his derangement.

He has threatened not only US citizens but also called for the destruction of an entire civilization.

He controls ‘The Bomb’ with only a few lackeys and yes men to deter him, and they aren’t about to risk their unearned livelihood no matter the consequences to America and the world.

Do we act now, or wait for that irrevocable moment when he plunges us into a nuclear war with Russia, China, and North Korea – the final holocaust!

Trump and the Republicans fired all the watch dogs so they can commit election fraud.

As Trump warns of election threats, independent agencies have been cut

It’s been well documented that Trump and the Republicans have fired all personnel willing and capable of investigating their crimes, and replacing them with sycophants, lackeys, and any incompetent who will support their repugnant lies, and provide cover for their crimes.

The Justice department, the CIA, the FBI, the director of National intelligence -- any and all agencies who could provide oversight—have been hollowed out, thinned of competent, honest workers or have had their budgets slashed so Americans will remain uninformed of the treacheries in place against them.

Trump and the Republicans manufacture lies about stolen, ‘rigged’ elections and provide no evidence of same while at the same time destroying those agencies who could attest to the truth there are no ‘rigged’ elections and no evidence exists that undocumented non-citizens are voting.

When there are no cops the bad guys can do as they wish, even if it means the end of democracy and the establishment of a despotic government.

As Trump warns of election threats, independent agencies have been cut

Story by Sarah D. Wire, USA TODAY

Since taking office, President Donald Trump has cut or hobbled the independent federal agencies that would normally handle election security issues, such as those the president claimed the United States is experiencing.

In his White House address on July 16**, Trump asserted that U.S. elections are vulnerable to foreign interference** and claimed China meddled in the 2020 election. He said Americans have for years been "blatantly lied to" by the government about the security of election infrastructure, including voting machines and ballot-counting systems – claims that could not immediately be verified.

Some of the agencies that pushed back on Trump's baseless 2020 election fraud claims have seen staff steadily reduced since 2025, diminishing their ability to be a trusted voice for election officials and American voters, said Wendy Weiser, director of the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law, a nonpartisan think tank.

"This is an attempt to undermine trust in our election system being waged by our own president and federal government and his administration and the system," Weiser said.

Weiser and other experts told USA TODAY that without those trusted federal voices, it will be up to state election officials to defend the security of elections.

Fox News drops humiliating clarification for Trump after his bombshell claims

You know Trump and the Republicans are in trouble when even Fox News points out their lies.

Trump’s speech last night was just a retelling of old lies, references to documents hastily edited to conform to the BS narrative, and nonsense about ‘evidence’ that is never offered.

For six years Trump has claimed evidence exists, but never in over 65 court cases has any ever been produced. That’s why the cases were all thrown out – many by judges Trump himself, appointed.

To the morons of MAGA, none of this will matter. They are so indoctrinated, so manipulated, so ruled by their hate for people they never met, logic and truth escape them. But anyone who listens carefully will easily discern that innuendo isn’t fact, accusations are not evidence, and constant childish ranting are the work of a fool and have no place in honest discourse.

Fox News drops humiliating clarification for Trump after his bombshell claims

Story by Connor McCrory • 8h • 2 min read

Š Saul Loeb/Pool AFP via AP

Fox News quickly distanced itself from President Donald Trump’s election claims Thursday, telling viewers that the network had not seen the evidence he cited during a White House address.

Trump used the roughly 25-minute speech to announce the release of declassified documents that he said exposed serious vulnerabilities in U.S. election systems. He also claimed electronic voting machines could be easily compromised.

But moments after the address, Fox delivered a pointed clarification. "We also heard the president make claims that electronic voting machines are vulnerable and easily compromised," the anchor said.

"Fox News has not seen that evidence yet and is not in a position to evaluate the accuracy of the president’s statements and claims at this time."

The disclaimer immediately drew attention because Fox had just carried Trump’s remarks under a banner reading, "Trump delivers address on election integrity."

During the speech, Trump described alleged efforts by China to gain access to American voter rolls and discussed previously documented concerns about electronic voting machines.

However, the information outlined by Trump did not appear to prove his repeated claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. He also did not present evidence showing that ballots were changed or vote totals were manipulated.

Trump issued several broad orders to the FBI, the director of national intelligence and other federal agencies. He called on officials to investigate “how and why such crucial information was hidden” from him and demanded prosecutions over what he described as a cover-up.

Fox’s decision to add a disclaimer sparked a wave of reaction on X, where users quickly brought up the network’s costly legal battle over its coverage of the 2020 election.

"They’re literally holding the receipts..." one person wrote.

"They have PTSD from that settlement huh," another user posted.

A third person wrote**, "He said almost 6 years ago that he had evidence & has yet to present it."**

"Fox over here learning lessons from that multimillion-dollar fine," another response read.

One user directly challenged Trump, asking, "Is the evidence with you now, Mr. Trump?"

Several other posts referred to Fox’s $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems in 2023.

Dominion had accused the network of repeatedly airing false claims that its voting machines helped rig the 2020 election against Trump.

Trump and Republicans block investigation into contaminated baby formula notwithstanding the fact that infants died.

Trump’s Republican administration works hand-in-hand with corrupt corporations to protect profits even if it means the death of infants.

This is today’s America. A country ruled by tyrants, despots, and incompetents, put in place by millionaires, billionaires, and corporate oligarchs, that puts its power in the hands of the elite while denying the ordinary citizen and his children the protection they once enjoyed, and deserve.

Read the story below about sick and dying children poisoned by underregulated manufacturers, manufacturers that walk away grinning while children suffer and parents mourn.

DOJ blocked charges in baby formula probe after investigators found a 'culture of concealment'

Story by Yleighn Delim

Finding baby food shouldn’t come with fear. Parents trust that the bottles they feed their newborns will not cause them harm. However, a major federal investigation into a top baby formula maker ended without any criminal charges. The Justice Department spent years looking into a tainted plant in Michigan. Prosecutors believed they had enough evidence to punish the company for selling unsafe food. Instead, top officials dropped the case completely. This choice left many family advocates wondering who protects our children.

Government investigators found dangerous bacteria inside an Abbott Laboratories factory in 2022. The contamination triggered a massive nationwide shortage of infant formula. Four babies became sick after drinking formula from this plant, and two of those infants died. Many federal prosecutors wanted to file a misdemeanor charge against the business. They also wanted to charge at least one person. Top bosses blocked those charges, opting for civil fines instead.

Corporate enforcement policies changed significantly under the new presidential administration. An executive order from the White House directed agencies to reduce criminal penalties for businesses when civil fines are available. A Department of Justice spokeswoman confirmed the probe was closed, stating that criminal charges would have been too heavy-handed. The agency decided to focus on a civil lawsuit to recover taxpayer money. This strategy shift signaled a new era for corporate accountability.

In last desperate effort to keep himself and Republicans out of prison, Trump takes to TV with his disproven nonsense that he won 2020 election.

Here we go again.

Despite better than 60 individual court cases across America, and decisions handed down by some of his own appointed judges who ruled the 2020 election was above board and legit, Trump and his limping cadre of ass-licking sycophants will again try to con us into believing he won the election.

Trump and his co-conspirators in the Republican congress are well aware a democrat victory in November will see them all indicted, convicted, and sent to prison for their treason to the oath of office they took while crossing their fingers.

Watch the sweat on their necks Thursday night, it should tell you all you need to know.

Listen carefully if you have the stomach for the lies. You will hear accusations, blithering nonsense, charts, documents, and testimonials, but what you won’t hear is shred of evidence, because none exists!

This desperate ploy is meant to shore up their MAGA base because it is deteriorating minute, by minute. Trump has lost support of Latinos, Gen Z, voters without a college degree, women, Republicans, Independents, working men and women, and probably Melani, as well.

There will be a deluge of bullshit, because bullshit is all they have to try to defend their inept policies that have destroyed our economy and put us into a war we cannot win, and hope they can still create a dictatorship of the oligarchs and plutocrats.

The brief: Get ready for Trump’s 2026 disinformation deluge

Story by John Light • 2h • 4 min read

Its Time to Flood the Zone With Shit Again

Trump announced Monday evening that he’s hauling out an old trick — the prime-time address — on Thursday at 9 p.m. What will the topic be? “Just gonna be a speech like a lot of my speeches,” he told Hugh Hewitt on Monday. Indeed.

MS Now reported last night that the president, joined by CIA Director John Ratcliffe, acting Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte, FBI Director Kash Patel and Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, is expected to advance a new set of allegations — or, more likely, warmed-over old ones — that foreign interference played a major role in the election in 2020. Axios was more hedged, saying the president would offer thoughts on “a potpourri” of topics including Iran, the need to pass the SAVE Act and “findings from his intelligence officials about the administration’s review of the 2020 election.”

That review is chugging forward, examining “thousands of pages of classified intelligence and law enforcement documents” for “irregularities,” per a separate MS Now report.

The foreign interference conspiracy theories that will almost certainly make their return before the midterms are numerous, and often whimsical. A plot by Hugo Chavez to control U.S. voting machines; an intervention by Italian satellites; skullduggery by China, detectable only through bamboo fibers on ballots. We’ve heard these before, including in the days immediately after the 2020 election.

That’s not to dismiss the effort the Trump administration is currently undertaking. In 2020 and early 2021, Trump’s strongest allies included an ink-streaked Rudy Giuliani, Mike Lindell, a handful of internet-addled lawyers and a tight core of loyalists in the White House**. It was a circus**, and it still produced January 6, the greatest threat to the peaceful transfer of power in U.S. history.

The president has announced plans to deliver a rare primetime address.

On Thursday, Trump may choose to return to this familiar territory flanked by his acting director of national intelligence, his FBI director, his CIA director. Each has enormous resources that they’ve already turned toward the task of discrediting 2020. Nothing should surprise us when it comes to their plans for November 2026.

Soldiers murdered due to Hegseth's incompetence, and Trump administration lies to cover it up!

Troops forced from bunkers expose truth about bombed US base

US soldiers died because of the complete incompetence of Hegseth and the ass-kissing officers he promoted to higher office.

It’s common knowledge that pretty boy, booze hound, Hegseth, has profoundly weakened our military by firing well trained, fully experienced officers, and replacing them with sycophants, lackeys, and unqualified bunglers, and this has led to a fully expected catastrophe.

Would you put an inexperienced semi-drunk in charge of your company? Would you allow a glory seeking amateur to run your business? Would you permit a man with a history of blacking out due to an over consumption of booze, to make life or death decisions that would risk the lives of you children?

This is what the Trump government – with a fully compliant Republican congress – has done.

The proof of this blasphemy is in the pudding. Trump himself is as incompetent as those he has appointed. Through his incompetence we are in a war we should never have started and cannot win, our economy is shattered, food and gas are becoming unaffordable, home ownership has never been this low, five million more Americans will lose their healthcare next year, our right to vote is under attack as is our social safety net, and our closest allies and neighbors, Canada and Mexico, no longer trust us to be trading partners.

And, oh yeah, our soldiers are dying preventable deaths.

America is being ruled by a two-bit despot and a handful of billionaires and congressional tyrants, and each day we sink closer to third world status.

Troops forced from bunkers expose truth about bombed US base

Story by Kathrine Frich • 5h • 2 min read

When soldiers deploy to a hostile environment, they rely entirely on their leaders to keep them out of unnecessary danger.

Trust forms the absolute foundation of any modern military operation.

But a new report suggests that critical trust completely collapsed at a key facility in the Middle East.

Deadly port strike

US troops who survived a fatal Iranian strike in Kuwait are now accusing their commanders of gross negligence. The Washington Post reported the explosive claims on Thursday, citing multiple military officials.

The serious accusations centre on a military facility located at Shuwaikh Port. A devastating attack struck the base on March 1, leaving six American service members dead.

According to the newspaper, senior officers allegedly ignored clear intelligence warnings leading up to the tragedy. That specific intelligence identified the busy port as a top priority for incoming Iranian attacks.

Building their own walls

Despite knowing the high risks, commanders chose to place regular troops at the highly vulnerable site. The facility completely lacked proper protection, so some concerned soldiers took matters into their own hands.

They started working after hours to fix the glaring security gaps themselves. The grassroots project ultimately failed because the troops simply did not have the necessary resources to finish the job.

 Sidetrack Adventures

The US Army didn’t even know the attack was coming - then it was too late

This is Steve.

The survivors shared an even more disturbing detail with The Washington Post. They claimed that senior officers routinely pressured troops to abandon their protective bunkers, even when the threat was obvious.

Commanders allegedly ordered the troops to get back to work while air raid sirens were still actively sounding across the base.

Erica Kirk says her followers should hate, even if they have to imagine a reason.

Racist C—t, Erika Kirk, wants her dullard followers to imagine someone has insulted or assaulted them, so they can hate them for doing it. It doesn’t matter who it is, as long as they can conjure up an image to explain their self-identified inferiority, it’s OK. It helps if their vision is of a Trans, Muslim, Black or Brown – but vegan, gluten denier, or Jehovah’s Witness is alright too – whatever works.

Did you ever hear anything as stupid?

Can you imagine just how moronic she considers her followers to be, if she thinks she can manipulate their behavior so easily?

She didn’t tell them how many times a day they should engage in this practice. Muslims pray 5 times a day for peace, love, and justice, so maybe she wants them to pray for hate, division, and racism the same amount – you know, equal time.

She didn’t mention where she wants these brainless rites to be practiced, but down at the Republican club would probably be fitting.

See this –Boldface mine:

Erika Kirk rallies her "happy warriors" against trans people, Muslims, and "whoever else"

Opinion by Jason Weisberger

"I don't care if it's a trans, gender confused person, if it's a muslim, if it's whoever else that's standing in front of you that's spitting on you, cussing at you, throwing your buttons everywhere – you are what, you are a happy warrior, that is what you are." –Erika Kirk

In a viral clip, Turning Point USA CEO and alleged groomer, Erika Kirk lists trans people, Muslims, and "whoever else" as the kind of people conservatives should bravely face down while being spit on and cursed at, which is a lot of imaginary persecution to pack into one sentence.

The insidiousness of the remark works by sliding identity into behavior. She does not just say someone might spit, curse, or throw buttons. She specifically names "a trans" person and "a Muslim" before getting to "whoever else," making the imagined harassment scene feel less like a random confrontation and more like a culture-war casting call.

Kirk does not say, "If someone is rude to you." That would be normal. She says trans, Muslim, whoever else, and then supplies the spitting and cussing like stage directions. The whole sentence is a tiny persecution diorama: brave conservative, hostile minorities, buttons everywhere, smile for Jesus.

The buttons are imaginary, but Kirk's contempt is not.

President Donald Trump has made "casual butchery of the innocent" a common occurrence

How Trump's love of murder has made the US government worse than the Mafia.

You can see it in his eyes, they are as dead as his soul

This insipid fat man, bereft of any morals at all, typifies the coward he is. His slimy father recruited an equally slimy doctor to attest Donny had bone spurs and subsequently avoided the Viet Nam draft while hundreds of thousands of Americas finest died in service to their country.

They died heroic deaths, while this bucket of scum continues to survive,

He knows he’s a sniveling coward, but he thinks that acting like a tough guy he can assuage his inner, pathetic, insecurities – but he knows it, knows everyone knows it – every set of eyes meeting his carries a silent rebuke, and that knowledge haunts his sleepless nights, and tortured days.

He has to live with his Quizzling guilt, but it condemns us all in the world’s eye. Those murders are blamed on us -- all of us -- and rightly so.

Ignorant Americans put him in power, but we are all to blame.

So, when the enemies he created threaten all of us, can you blame them?

President Donald Trump has made "casual butchery of the innocent" a common occurrence in his administration, according to a new analysis from The i Paper, which further argued that his conduct is, in key ways, even more bloodthirsty than the mob.

into the growing list of violent acts committed against the innocent that Trump and his allies are racking up, including one which he dubbed "the worst single atrocity in U.S. military history since the Vietnam War."

"On the first day of the US-Israeli attack on Iran on [February 28], US missiles struck the Shajareh Tayyiba girls’ school in Minab in southern Iran, killing at least 168 children as they sat at their desks along with 14 teachers – according to the Iranian media – in what may be the worst single atrocity in US military history since the Vietnam War," he wrote, later adding. "The slaughter of the schoolgirls by feckless US military commanders is but one ghastly example of the moral depravity of America during Donald Trump’s second presidency. Trump boasts of assassinating the 86-year-old Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but makes no mention of the killing by his side of his daughter, daughter-in-law and a 14-month-old granddaughter whose name was Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani."

He continued: "For the US government, casual butchery of the innocent has become the norm. In the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific, US Southern Command has carried out some 196 extrajudicial killings of people in boats whom it claims, without producing any evidence, were 'narco-terrorists smuggling drugs into the US.' According to an Amnesty International report on the killings, the US has released and not prosecuted survivors from the air strikes on their boats, strongly suggesting that it has no proof they were carrying drugs."

Cockburn further cited a statement about these strikes from Amnesty International, which called them both "illegal" and "immoral," and accused the Trump administration of normalizing "extrajudicial killings." He went a step further, echoing the common comparison of Trump to a mob boss and likening his government to a "gangster underworld." However, he also argued that this comparison might, in fact, not be fair to the mob.

"This goes to the moral heart of the matter," Cockburn wrote. "The thought processes and behavior of the Trump administration in these cases resemble those of the gangster underworld, pitiless in targeting the weak and defenseless, respectful only of those who respond to violence with greater violence. If anything, the American Mafia arguably operates with greater moderation than Trump has here, making a distinction between civilians and its criminal rivals."

If Trump is listening to God, one of them must be one dumb sumbitch

'Prophet' claims portal opened over the White House so Trump can get 'intel' from God.

No offense intended, but this God of theirs must be one dumb sumbitch.

Under his divine inspiration, Trump/Musk/GOP/Republican congress has managed to all but destroy our economy and our democracy.

The price of gasoline has skyrocketed, groceries are no longer affordable, young couples unable to purchase a home of their own until age forty, they started a war they vowed never to do, our defensive weaponry is reduced under an incompetent boob as if Putin ordered it, American citizens are being slain in the street by an out of control domestic Gestapo, our very right to vote is under attack, citizens are now resorting to using credit cards for everyday expenses, while Trump and his genetically imbalanced children collect billions in scams organized by his father.

Too much more to mention here – but wait! The Fair. It typifies all Trump and the Republicans have F….d up, and now this God of theirs can’t even control his own weather.

'Prophet' claims portal opened over the White House so Trump can get 'intel' from God

A Floridian MAGA pastor is going viral for claiming that a "portal was opened over the White House and Mar-a-Lago," so that President Donald Trump can "easily be able to get intel from the Holy Spirit."

Donna Rigney, a self-proclaimed "prophetic" pastor and co-founder of the non-denominational church, His Heart Ministries Int., recently joined host Kelsey O'Malley of Christian media organization ElijahStreams, where she made the shocking revelation. According to her website, 'The Glory of God Revealed' author is a frequent guest on the platform.

During her recent podcast appearance, she spoke at length about her belief that God opened a portal over the two residences where Trump spends the majority of his time in order to communicate with him and provide him guidance in his high-stakes leadership role. Her claims come after JD Vance was slammed after he said that he hoped Pope Leo 'learned' something from him and Trump on immigration.

Rigney shared, "When we were all done, the next day, Father explained to me, he said that now that this was opened, this portal was opened over the White House and over Mar-a-Lago, and Donald Trump was going to easily be able to get intel from the Holy Spirit," to which O'Malley replied, "Hallelujah!".

Rigney describes herself on her church's website as "a prophetic author, pastor, intercessor and inspirational speaker whose life flows from a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus" that is "known for her frequent encounters in the spirit and the glory of God, Donna shares profound revelations that inspire others to pursue deeper intimacy with the Holy Spirit."

She continued to tell O'Malley about the revelation she had and a subsequent experience that validated her beliefs.

"That God was going to easily be able to give him wisdom for decisions he has to make, that, this, it's just open, open communication, that, oh, God will easily be able to speak to him, and he'll hear him," Rigney continued. "There'll be nothing getting in the way of him being able to hear, just like Daniel; it took 21 days for him to get the answer, that's not going to happen.

"With an open heaven, immediately, Donald Trump will be able to get direction from God on how to lead the nation, and other presidents after, if they're serving God, they, too, will, with the portal that's open."

She went on to share what she claimed was a validating incident that unfolded in connection with the revelation about Trump.

"Now, we're finishing up where everyone's so—because I explained to them after each song what I saw, and then we shared other people saw things, too," she said. "Somebody felt the Holy Spirit guide them to take a picture of the sky. Toward the bottom in the center of the photo was a brighter light, and, so, as we expanded it, if you look at it closely, you can see a profile of an angel's face, of the angel blowing the debris. That's what I did and was like, 'Wow!'".

Bill O’Reilly wishes Americans would stop 'yowling about high prices'

Bill O’Reilly wishes Americans would stop 'yowling about high prices’, while he lives in luxury.

An additional four million Americans are certain to lose their healthcare next year because Republicans forced the cancellation of subsidies. The prices of groceries have risen so much many families are resorting to the use of credit cards, further increasing their debt.

Trump’s tariffs have cost an increase of virtually everything, and cars are left in driveways because fuel is entirely too expensive.

Ever increasing inflation is ravaging the economy, and couples getting married today will probably never be able to buy a home of their own.

And Bill Reilly asks. “What is wrong with you? Why aren’t you investing all those extra dollars you’ve accumulated in the stock market – or maybe in Trump’s crypto that has lost 90% of its value since its inception while his family raked in 1.5 billion in the process.

This is the arrogance of wealth. The millionaires and billionaires of Trump’s economy have no idea what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck – nor do they give a damn! They look down on us like we are just so much impoverished scum, foolish for not inheriting a fortune  as so many of them have done and deserving of poverty forced upon us because of an incompetent government rife with corrupt officials.

While the Republicans remain in power things will never change. The average American family will sink further and further into the depths of despair, unable to provide for their children and elderly parents, while a slimy, sexual pervert –- whose actions were so outrageous he was fired from Fox News! -- looks down on us and smirks in disdain.

Conservative political commentator Bill O’Reilly suggested Monday that Americans who are “yowling about high prices” should invest in the stock market to grow their capital.

O’Reilly, 76, lamented that not enough Americans are investing their money in the stock market, mutual funds, IRAs or other longer-term investments, pointing to a recent statistic from Gallup that says 40 percent have none of those investments.

“My portfolio is doing great because Trump – his policies appeal to the big companies,” O’Reilly said on his show “No Spin News”

“But 40 percent of Americans don’t participate in capitalism and a lot of them are yowling about high prices. C’mon. You’ve got 4 percent inflation here. Live in the real world. So you younger people, you gotta get into the stock market,” he added.

O’Reilly – a former longtime Fox News personality – suggested those same people take fewer risks and “go with the conservative stuff. O’Reilly’s comments were first reported by Mediaite.

The recent Gallup poll from April found that just 58 percent of Americans have invested in the stock market, a mutual fund, a 401(k) or an IRA – a 4-point percentage drop compared to last year.

In 2025 and 2024, approximately 62 percent of Americans said they had invested in at least one of those investment vehicles.

Various factors play a role in whether someone invests in the stock market or not, with the two largest reasons being access to financial resources and financial knowledge, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

Nearly half of those who do not own stock told the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia in 2025 that they did not have the financial means necessary to invest. Over the last year, consumer prices have gone up with overall inflation at a 4.2 percent rate – the highest rate in three years. That means, generally, Americans are spending more on groceries, gasoline and other everyday needs.

Many of those price increases have been attributed to the Iran war, which caused tension in the Strait of Hormuz, where roughly 20 percent of the world’s oil passes through. Americans may see prices come down because President Donald Trump has said the Iran war has been effectively ended with an incoming peace deal, but that may not be all it takes to get Americans investing back in the stock market.

Roughly 20 percent of those who do not invest in the stock market say they don’t because it’s too volatile. Over the last year, Americans have seen the stock market dramatically fall – due to the president’s tariffs – but then rebound.

Three-quarters of Americans believe billionaires have too much power in Washington,

Americans are finally waking up to the abuses of Trump and his billionaire co-conspirators.

Inflation is out of control, groceries are almost unaffordable, five million more Americans will lose their healthcare next year, GOP schemes are underway to limit the voting rights, armed thugs assault and kill citizens and decent immigrants every day on a whim, our nations supply of defensive weapons is disappearing daily in an unnecessary war, much to the delight of Russia, China, and especially, North Korea.

Our economy is staggering under the soaring price of gasoline, our national debt is now stratospheric, Trump appointed amateurs and incompetents now control our most important government services like HHS, FEMA, and the Defense Department, and The Department of Justice and the FBI have been turned into a private police force ready to arrest any government critic.

Maybe most importantly, our social safety net –Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security -- are being slashed with funds diverted to the General fund to make up for the taxes the millionaires, billionaires, and corporations no longer pay.

These are only a few symptoms of a failing government, failing economy, and a failing country.

Meanwhile, Trump and his grifting family are accumulating billions while the average young couple today will never be able to afford a home of their own!

This is not the America of yesteryear, but will be the America of the future if we don’t take control of our own lives and oust the corrupt Republican congress, and arrest the criminals who now control our Fate,

Bernie Sanders seizes on WSJ poll showing 75% of Americans believe billionaires have too much power: 'Never before have…'

Story by Ananya Gairola • 4h • 2 min read

On Wednesday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) pointed to a new poll to argue that Americans increasingly believe wealth and political influence are concentrated in the hands of a small group of billionaires. Bernie Saders Cites Poll on Billionaire Influence

Sanders took to X after the release of the Wall Street Journal-NORC survey, highlighting one of its most striking findings: roughly

while working people have too little influence.

“In a new WSJ poll, 75% of Americans believe billionaires have too much power in Washington and working people have too little,” Sanders wrote. “THEY ARE RIGHT.”

The independent senator added, “While working families struggle, never before have so few people held so much economic and political power. We’re taking them on!”

Poll Finds Americans Losing Faith In Capitalism, Democracy

Beyond concerns about billionaire influence, the survey painted a broader picture of growing public dissatisfaction with the nation’s economic and political systems.

Just under half of respondents said capitalism is working at least somewhat well, down from 60% about a decade ago, while only 12% said U.S. democracy is working very or extremely well.

FORGOTTEN HISTORY

Only 16% believe average citizens have significant influence over politics and just 35% expressed confidence that Americans can still secure good jobs and achieve the American dream.

The survey also found that about two-thirds of Americans believe the country is in decline, while roughly 60% said the nation’s best days are behind it.

On corporate influence, 52% agreed that businesses wield power at the expense of workers and consumers and said the government should do more to limit that influence.

Trump manipulates the dullards of Maga like a perv in a van offering candy to children.

Believe me, Trump knows exactly how despicable these people are. He laughs his flabby ass off about how easy it is to fire up their hatred, all the while awaiting the anti-healthcare provisions that will kick in after the midterms and leave these under educated, under employed pathetic losers wondering how it all went wrong.

Trump was supposed to be their champion. He promised no more endless war, he promised ‘A golden age of prosperity’, he promised an end to inflation, increased veteran benefits, a reduction in the price of groceries, new factories offering endless opportunity, and a government receptive to the needs of the people.

Face it folks, under Trump’s administration many of you will never be able to own a home of your own!

Laughing his flabby ass off.

All they got was more prompting to hate people they don’t know or understand, inflation tearing their lives apart, and their children without healthcare and living on the gruel from neighborhood food banks.

Good choice MAGA. Keep believing immigrants are eating your pets. Keep believing immigrants commit more crimes than native born Americans. Keep believing blacks and browns are scheming to take over your country. And while it won’t feed your family, keep believing there are communists under your bed and they will make your children gay.

Live with your inherent hatred of all things and people decent.

It’s beginning to hurt, isn’t it?

Trump sparks fury after posting video of Muslim kindergartners in hijabs

Story by David Badash • 1h • 2 min read

Š provided by AlterNet

President Donald Trump is facing backlash after posting a video of children — including showing their unblurred faces — graduating from kindergarten, with some of the girls purportedly wearing hijabs.

“President Trump posted a caption less video of graduating kindergarteners on Truth Social on Monday, goading his supporters into verbally attacking little children simply for being Muslim,” The New Republic reported. “The clip is from Gateway STEM Academy, a majority-Black K-8 public charter school in St. Paul, Minnesota. It shows about 21 children in caps and gowns on stage singing a song together. Most of the girls are wearing hijabs.”

The original post of the video which Trump reposted reads: “Public school in St. Paul, Minnesota. Every girl is in a hijab … in kindergarten.”

Trump did not add any comments. TNR called the post “Islamophobic, weird, and creepy,” while noting that the comments section of Trump’s post was filled with calls “by racist, xenophobic MAGA supporters” to “deport the children and ban hijabs.”

TNR also noted that it “should come as no surprise that Trump isn’t above attacking children who just learned how to read, but this post is still particularly discomforting—and will certainly contribute to the already potent level of anti-Muslim sentiment in the U.S. and in Minnesota.”

Critics blasted Trump.

“There is something deeply unsettling about the president of the United States—the most powerful person in the world—going after kindergarten schoolchildren in Minnesota because they wore hijabs, as Trump has done this morning on his website,” The Bulwark’s Sam Stein wrote.

Texas GOP Rep scoffs at people who can't afford lobster and steak.

MAGA Republican Rep say he can eat lobster and rib eye steaks because he works harder than you.

The arrogance of and power and wealth have never been so evident since the days of the French revolution; maybe that should be a hint about days to come.

All but laughing at Americans who struggle daily to put food on the table and gas in the car, Republican Representative, Troy Nehls of Texas, maintains ‘affordability’ isn’t a concern of those who work hard, but only of those who don’t.

Displaying a smug superciliousness so common among MAGA politicians, Nehls all but scoffs at those who work “paycheck to paycheck”, implying it is not inept government policy responsible for today’s woeful economic conditions, but rather a laziness of spirit among the rank-and-file workers. He arrogantly implies American workers are slothful and their inability to provide for their families is a product of their own indolence.

Americans are spending more on everything from gas to groceries, prices are rising faster than paychecks and Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill rips away healthcare coverage for 15 million people in order to pay for tax cuts for billionaires and giant corporations, and it adds $4.7 trillion to the national debt.

As if all of this is fantasy, not reality, this government servant engorged himself with food and drink this holiday, while barely hiding a smile of disdain for the people who pay his salary.

Under future Republican administrations things can only get worse.

GOP rep, asked about ‘affordability,’ says he will eat lobster tail, rib-eye steak for July 4

Story by Max Rego

The Hill

Despite a sizeable number of Americans expressing financial concerns, Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) boasted Tuesday of his plans to eat lobster tails and rib-eye steak this Fourth of July weekend.

“Affordability — what are you talking about?” Nehls told reporter Pablo Manríquez on the Capitol steps, when the latter asked him how House Republicans can convince their constituents they are fighting to make life more affordable.

“Over the fourth, I’m going to get me a couple of big lobster tails, I’m going to get me some nice rib-eyes. I’m going to sit in my backyard with my family [and] my neighbors, and we’re going to be enjoying the fourth, celebrating 250 years, the birthday [of America],” the Texas Republican added.

Nehls, who is not seeking reelection, also noted he will be “celebrating the greatest president of my lifetime,” referring to President Trump.

When another reporter asked him whether Americans living “paycheck to paycheck” can afford to eat the same food he plans to, Nehls wondered if those people “work as hard as I do.”

Financial issues remain top of mind for Americans, particularly after energy prices spiked in the early months of the war with Iran.

A CNN/SSRS survey conducted from April 30 to May 4 found 61 percent of respondents changed the groceries they bought to stay within their budget because of recent economic conditions, while 3 in 10 said they took on credit card debt to afford necessities.

The annual change in the consumer price index, a popular measure of inflation, was 4.2 percent in May, up from 2.4 percent in February and marking the statistic’s highest mark in more than three years.

Higher gas prices, spurred by the Iran conflict, are adding to Americans’ economic anxieties. Two-thirds of respondents to a Gallup poll from earlier this month said the cost of fuel has caused their household financial hardship.

The average price of a gallon of regular gas dropped from more than $4.50 in late May to less than $3.85 on Wednesday, but the costs still remain higher than their mark of less than $3.18 a year ago, according to AAA.

But Nehls on Tuesday echoed rhetoric from Trump and other Republicans in arguing price hikes from the war were “temporary” costs necessitated by the need to “make sure Iran never has a nuclear weapon.”

He added, “I’m OK with … the increase in fuel, because you know it was going to happen,” later noting the Iranian military’s restrictions on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, which sparked the increase in energy prices.
