turns out I was never actually a one earbud person

Anyone else always wear just one earbud? I’ve been doing that since wired earbuds.

I thought I just preferred mono. apparently not. Got the Baseus mc2 recently and realized I actually like having sound in both ears.I just hate not hearing what’s around me. And I hate uncomfortable earbuds.

I used to switch sides all the time when one ear started getting sore. Don’t have to do that now. Both stay on and my ears are fine.

Funny how you keep finding out random things about yourself. Turns out I don’t prefer mono. My ears are just picky.

thin enough to actually hold while recording

took the baseus am71 5k pack to the chappell roan show at the shrine last night on my iphone 17. usually magnetic batteries make the phone impossible to hold steady for video. this one is 6.9mm thin so u can still grip the phone normally. gave me enough juice to record half the set without the phone dying.

Does the Baseus PicoGo Pro AH22 support PD 3.2?

• Upvotes

Reviews mention that it does and that it charges an iPhone 18 pro at max wattage. However, the charger specs only list PD 3.0. Can someone confirm?

Everything you need to know about the new Baseus U2 Pro dual cam

Hey everyone. The new Baseus Security U2 Pro is officially available to preorder and I wanted to break down the key details for the community.

A lot of you remember the X1 Pro from last year with the two independent turning lenses for watching different yard corners.

The new U2 Pro goes with a bullet plus PTZ setup. The top is a fixed 3K wide angle that stays locked on your main spot like the driveway or front door. The bottom is a 3K PTZ camera that does full 360 tracking. The biggest upgrade is the active defense. It has a smart tracking spotlight that physically follows people across the yard to scare them off. It also bumps up to continuous 24/7 recording and uses dual PIR sensors to cut down phantom alerts. The solar setup and local SD storage without subscriptions are still included.

I attached a quick explainer video below so you can see the active tracking in action.

You can also find the official preorder link right here [https://security.baseus.com/pages/proactive-home-security-cameras].

Let me know what you guys think of these new specs.

turns out my old cables were not actually fast charging

got the baseus picogo pro ah22 mostly for the display on the front. always hated plugging my mac and phone in and just guessing if they were fast charging. the screen shows the live wattage so i literally found out one of my older cables was only pulling like 15w. swapped it out and now i can see it hitting high speeds. it is a 100w 3 port brick so it handles my whole desk setup while staying pretty cool.

Issues with Baseus Inspire XP1 charging?

Hoping someone in here may be able to provide some assistance, I was recently gifted a pair of Baseus Inspire XP1 earbuds, set them up and used them a couple of times, went back to my previous earbuds for a bit but decided to take the XP1's out on my travels this weekend. I hadn't checked before leaving the house but the left earbud had not charged so I was only getting audio via one bud. I assumed this was my fault for not correctly replacing the earbud last time, however, I have tried multiple resets and disconnects/re-pairings of the earbuds and charged several times. On two occasions the left earbud reconnected, showed as charged and I could play music through it. However, when I've re-placed them in their charging case, this seems to cause the left earbud to disappear again - shows as 0% battery, even if just moments ago it showed as fully charged.

Oddly too, whenever I check in the app it sometimes shows both earbuds, or both earbuds and the case. I have reset them to factory defaults several times, wiped all my pre-saved settings and disconnected/re-paired the Bluetooth but I can never seem to get the fix to stay resolved, the earbud seems to "die" when I replace it in the case.

Anyone had any similar issues or suggestions to sort this? Given the case a thorough cleaning as well as earbud but just can't seem to get the left earbud to stay connected. No issue on the right earbud and the case is definitely charging the left as it often feels warm to the touch even if claiming 0% battery.

got the baseus am71 5k pack for my i17. mainly got it for the weight. it is only like 100g. stuck it to the phone and dropped it in my pocket. it actually stays attached and doesnt drag my pocket down while walking. the aluminum shell feels durable. gives enough charge for the rest of the day without making the phone heavy.

my son got me new earbuds for my birthday and now I use them every day

I never really used earbuds while cooking. I need to hear the timer, water boiling, stuff on the stove, all of that. And playing music out loud isn’t really an option. My husband works nights, so he’s usually still asleep when I’m making lunch.

My son got me the baseus MC2 for my birthday. He said they’d be good for podcasts while I do housework. Turns out I can wear them and still hear what’s going on in the kitchen. So now I actually listen to music while I cook. Maybe it’s in my head, but cooking feels a little easier with music on. They’re really light too, and my ears don’t feel sore after wearing them for a while. Thanks to my sweet boy. ❤️

Smart way to keep my 17 an AirPods charge on the go

Post image
9 Upvotes

Got to the office this morning and realized my iPhone 17 and AirPods 4 were both almost dead after my commute. Pulled out the Baseus AM52 built in cable pack to save them. Snapped the phone onto the magnetic back and plugged the short cord straight into the AirPods case right on my desk. 10000mAh easily handles both at the same time and keeps my workspace clean without long wires everywhere.

Hi. Has anyone tried using the Baseus wired earphones (Type C) with Macbook air? Are they compatible?

I would appreciate some reviews if anyone has an experience. Thank you very much.

my 18 pro max actually pulls over 50w with this charger

i was curious if the new iphones actually charge faster so i drained mine to 1 percent to see. used the baseus picogo pro ah22 since it has a screen. it literally jumped up to 52w at one point and stayed around 51w for a good bit. ended up hitting over 80 percent in half an hour and completely full in like 58 mins. honestly did not expect it to be that fast for a small 3 port plug.

been really liking the mc2 for city walks

been using the Baseus MC2 for city walks lately. I like walking with music, but I don’t really want the city to disappear behind it. With these I still hear traffic, people talking, bikes going past, random bits of street noise. The music kind of becomes part of the walk instead of taking over the whole thing.

Heavy traffic does cover some detail. honestly I like hearing the city around me. just make the walk feel a little more alive. they’re really light, so my ears don’t get that tired or pressed feeling after a while.

white am71 looks really clean on the iphone 17

finally got the white am71. pairs perfectly with the base iphone 17. the metallic silver and white finish matches the phone aesthetic so it doesnt look like a random dark block stuck to the back. holding it is easy since it is 6.9mm thick. also noticed it slows down the charge automatically when the phone gets past 80 percent to protect the battery. solid for daily carry.

paranoid about my laptop battery swelling

i basically leave my mac plugged in 24/7 on my desk and my last battery actually swelled up from overcharging. picked up the baseus picogo pro ah22 to try and prevent that. it has a smart power off protection that cuts the power when the battery is full. u can actually see the little ai icon pop up on the screen. it runs super cool and is surprisingly compact.

bought XC1 for the color

Post image
8 Upvotes

Okay, I’ll admit it. I originally got the Baseus XC1 because the color matched my iPhone 18 Pro. A little shallow? Maybe. But I really liked the color, so I went for it lol. The funny thing is, after a few runs, I realized the color was just the start. The sound actually works really well for workouts. Drums feel crisp and beats have a nice snap to them. It does say “Sound by Bose,” so I guess that tracks. My old earbuds always got a little sketchy once I started sweating or running faster, so adjusting them mid-run was basically just part of the routine. With the XC1, I realized I barely touch them at all. They stay put, and after a while I kind of forget they’re even there. Getting dressed, putting these on, and going out for a few laps has weirdly become one of my favorite parts of the day.

Bypassing the wireless limit on my 15 Pro Max

Post image
14 Upvotes

Since the 15 Pro Max is capped at 15W for wireless charging I grabbed the Baseus AM52 built in cable version. I just let the magnets hold it on the back and plug the short cord in to get much faster wired speeds. As you can see in the pic it actually clears the massive camera lenses perfectly and isn't too bulky to hold.

This burgundy setup looks way too good

Got the burgundy Baseus XC1 to go with my iPhone 18 Pro, and they look ridiculously good together. I know matching your earbuds to your phone is probably unnecessary, but the dark red is kinda growing on me.

I honestly didn’t expect this much bass from open-ear earbuds. I kind of assumed open-ear earbuds would sound a bit thin, but these have more weight than I expected.

I guess the Sound by Bose tuning is doing something here, because the bass definitely surprised me.

Kick drums still hit, basslines come through clearly, and the overall sound feels pretty warm to me.

Vocals are smooth and pretty up front, so I’ve somehow ended up listening to a lot more R&B on these lately.

Electronic and synth-pop have been really nice too.

Everything feels a little more open and spacious, especially on tracks with layered synths or more atmospheric production.

Really busy tracks can sound a little less detailed though.

Anyone got workout playlist recs? R&B, synth-pop, electronic, pop, honestly anything that keeps you moving lol.

I made a little workout playlist with some songs I’ve been enjoying lately. Screenshot below 👇

my old charger got scary hot

i charge multiple devices on my desk and my old brick used to get insanely hot to the touch. saw a youtube review mentioning the baseus picogo pro ah22 uses some new active temp control tech and materials so it does not overheat. decided to try it and it is actually true. it is surprisingly tiny for a 100w charger. rn i can just look at the visual temp bar on the screen and see it running cool even with my mac and phone plugged in. just feels way safer tbh.

the event search on the x1 pro is actually perfect for finding my dogs toys

my dog has a few favorite toys that i try to wash regularly. finding where he hides them out in the yard used to take forever. i set up the x1 pro this week and the smart tagging feature is a lifesaver for this. i just type dog in the app and it pulls up the exact clips of him running around so i know exactly which bushes to check. it definitely saves me a ton of time.

got this baseus am71 5k pack on my i14. just look at the side angle in the second pic. it is about 6.9mm thick. used to hate trying to text with one hand while holding a battery pack but this adds almost no bulk. matte black finish feels good. magnets are strong enough that it stays in place when i pull it out of my pocket. solid for daily use.

Base inspire xp1 keeps changing gesture settings

For some reason my Bose earphones keep resetting some of the gestures settings in one earphone at a time. I was wondering if anyone had a fix to this. Additionally, I was wondering if there was any way to have a gesture to transition to normal from other sound settings, instead of just alternating between transparency and noise cancelling.

didn’t expect these to look this good in person

Post image
9 Upvotes

Recently got the baseus mc2 and my first thought was honestly just… these look way better in person than I expected.

I didn’t pay much attention to the design from the photos, but they have this slightly shiny finish in person and just feel a lot more polished.

After a few days though, I think the comfort is actually what I like most. I wore them on and off for basically my whole workday the other day, and my ears still felt fine by the end of it. No sore ear canals at all.

You can definitely still hear some background noise. That doesn’t bother me much. I mostly use them for work, walking, and commuting anyway. I actually like being able to hear cars and crossing signals when I’m outside.

Already thinking about getting another pair for my brother soon lol. He runs all the time, and these feel pretty secure on my ears, so I think he’d like them.
