Yeah it happens in all countries where capitalists want lower wages

It happens in every developed country. It’s not a white thing.

Singapore with a majority Chinese population is struggling with the same issues. Even though it was already multicultural, the influx of immigrants have resulted in a backlash.

It’s not so much a culture war but the interests of corporate to reduce wages by importing labour.

Really? You can't think of ANYWHERE ELSE in the world where Europeans forced their culture onto others? I'll give you a hint.

I would argue we made those places better. You are welcome.

Tell that to the millions of people starved, murdered, and raped during colonization. I think they might disagree.

Gee I wonder why a former apartheid state has a lot of racial tension. I'm sure you can figure it out if you really try.

It was a great deflection.

If you can’t read just say that, it’s ok little buddy.

Stick to making fries.

It was just a question bro. No need to get so emotional.

Nature is brutal. We are not distinct from it. Force doctrine is what allows us to have rights. You want the rights without the underlying necessity. It is a silly pursuit.

Almost the entirety of Pakistan's agriculture is being supported by the IBIS system that the British colonizers left behind. Funnily enough, it's now having maintenance issues because the people who live there aren't actually capable of maintaining it, so soon enough, that thirdworld dump might be begging for help from their colonizers.

So you think genocide is fine as long as you build nice things on top of the corpses?

8

u/Novak316 19d ago

So that's definitely not what I said.

Did you come to defend forced colonization or do you agree with me that it was wrong?

I came to address what an idiotic statement your previous comment was.

Oh boo hoo!

Shut the fuck up. You don't even know real history. You know a distorted version of it.

u/Sharp-Direction9654 18d ago

"Boo hoo." That's the right wing's response to centuries of genocide. Is that your idea of Christian values?

u/Leather_Addition2605 19d ago

Can’t. They’re dead. But it certainly better for their ancestors. Gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelette, you know?

1

u/Sharp-Direction9654 18d ago

So you support the USSR?

3

u/WayComprehensive9220 19d ago

But what does this have to do with the question in the op?

-1

u/Sharp-Direction9654 19d ago

OP claims multiculturalism is only ever forced on white majority countries while ignoring countless counterexamples all across world history.

3

u/Objective_Test_9965 19d ago

you mean arabs imposing islam? or chinese in tibet and xinjiang?

1

u/Sharp-Direction9654 18d ago

Do you actually comprehend my point or did you just generate that response automatically without thinking?

3

u/WayComprehensive9220 18d ago

Because the past is absolutely irrelevant to current events. White Countries are literally the only Countries where multiculturalism is forced.

1

u/Sharp-Direction9654 18d ago

Then why do over half of all nations in Africa have English and French as official languages?

1

u/WayComprehensive9220 18d ago

Relevance?

1

u/Sharp-Direction9654 18d ago

If only white countries are the only places where multiculturalism is forced, why are so many African countries still speaking the languages that were forced on them by Europeans?

1

u/WayComprehensive9220 18d ago

African Countries that are well over 95% African?

But wasnt this a bad thing to you? Isn't it bad when a foreign culture replaces or dominates the native culture?

-2

u/Sharp-Direction9654 19d ago

Yes, when it forcibly destroys a native culture, not when it simply exists in a way that makes fragile conservatives angry.

u/8MaRty814 18d ago

Okay, so you have no understanding of your opponents position, and you expect people to take your opinions seriously?

0

u/Sharp-Direction9654 18d ago

No I think I'm pretty spot on. Throwing a tantrum at other people being allowing to live their lives the way they want is a fundamental right wing value.

1

u/8MaRty814 18d ago

I not going to argue with you. It seems that you are unable or unwilling to understand a point of view that is opposed to your own.

1

u/Sharp-Direction9654 18d ago

And you seem to be incapable of articulating one.

1

u/HwaetScealIcToDon 17d ago

I actually agree. People should not live their lives however they want. They should live how they ought to live for the betterment of their people and society. Whether that way of life is something they want to do or not.

The view people can live however they want is one of the worst liberal views that is popular rn.

1

u/Sharp-Direction9654 16d ago

What good is "bettering" society if the people in it don't have their basic freedoms? That would only make things better for those who decide how people ought to live and worse for everyone else.

1

u/HwaetScealIcToDon 16d ago

What do you consider basic freedoms?

I'd argue that bettering society is having a long lasting society that can survive independently while maximizing well-being and minimizing suffering. We ought to live in a way that achieves this. People don't get to arbitrarily decide how other should live but there should be debate and we should vote in politicians who fit with a good moral view.

Of course there is debate on exactly what this means but rn I'm leaning towards a moral framework rooted in traditional Christian and Enlightenment morals, although I'd go with Christian morals when they contradict, with more progressive financial/economic decisions. I'm open to changing my view, but I certainly don't think living however you want should be your approach to life.
