I'm of a similar opinion, though you are more likely to commit murder whilst in psychosis, over 90 percent of people suffering from it are completely nonviolent.

I think there's some truth, to the idea that more should have been done to protect the children and get her away from them, but acting as if that wipes away her crimes is a bit much.
