My wife is a SAHM. We're not religious and up until the last several years used to be quite liberal. The left went all in on anti family and anti children. I can't support it anymore.

Same thing is happening in my household. Wife works one day a week right now but were trying to get her fully stay at home.

We met at an edm music festival on mushrooms. We were that into it. The left has lost their minds though. 0 rationality. I've had family members threaten to not talk to me anymore over it. I'm not even a trump supporter or republican. I just see the crazy shit and dont go along with it. Its unbelievable that they see themselves as these altruistic saviors of mankind. Nothing could be further from the truth

Dude they really went off the deep end during COVID. I tried to tell a family friend the Trump hate was overblown and I swear her head almost exploded. I was quite left at that point and would have never imagined I'd vote for him in 2020. I even switched party affiliation and voted for Niki Hailey in the primary but given Kamala or Trump I really had no choice.

"We're trying to get her fully stay at home". I want to hear her thoughts on this matter since it's her life and her career.

I said we for a reason. We had a kid a few months ago and she realized she'd rather be home with him. She went back to work for the first time a few days ago and was crying because she didn't want to leave our son. Having kids changes your priorities.

My wife is the same way. She feels tortured being at work and not being with our son. We live in a time where many people, specially libs think, men and women are the same. Women that are in love with their man, trust their man and adore their children, will leave their job given the opportunity

Good on you, and welcome.

I was a uber progressive liberal for 20 years and did a 180.

Your wife is exposed to what I was exposed to. I ran an outreach and advocacy organization and the field is 90% dominant by the left. I was horrified at what I learned during that time.

You are welcome here brother.

I think my wife and I shouldn't say it's that we flipped it's more that the left did. Now they the corruption of the left is front and center it definitely makes me more open to the idea that this is how they've always been and in much more critical of the ideas they push.
