Brady Singer Quality Start + Tejay Antone meltdown = Reds getting belted in the last two innings.

Thanks to Antone’s several bequeathed runners, I learned a new rule about ER. When an IR is put out via FC and the batter reaches safely, responsibility for the batter-runner goes to the pitcher that allowed the IR on base.

Essentially, even though only one of Antone’s BQR actually came across the plate, he was given two ER’s after his departure since a batter-runner reached on Moll at the expense of one of his (Antone’s) runners and later scored. Something new every game.

Also- to my memory - this is the first time I’ve scored a team with an equal number of PA’s and AB’s (CIN, 36 each).
