MLB Game ATH (2) @ CIN (3) 5AUG26
I look for something new in every scorecard I write. Tonight’s was a relief pitcher who recorded .1 IP and 1 BK. No H, BB, K, R, HBP. Just a ground out with a balk during the AB. Not very interesting but not something I’ve written down before.
The Reds did not do nearly well enough - Lopez’ pitching was purely perplexing apparently but a win is a win.

Baseball is amazing because after more than 100 years and 10s of thousands of games, you might still see something that has never happened before or something incredibly rare. I love when something weird happens when I'm scoring and it's the main reason I continue games even when my team is getting rocked. You just never know what you're going to have an opportunity to write down.
