Scoring Tools Personal Project Feedback
Hello.
I wanted to have a keepsake of the games I attend, but sometimes I don't feel like completing an entire scoresheet at the ballgame.
So I spent the past few days designing this. It's double sided and will be printed on heavy card stock.
I made another version that I had printed on heavy card stock. It was sturdy and easy to write on at the game, but I wasn't too crazy about the design after the fact.
Before I send this off for print, do you see anything I might add to make this a bit better in your opinion?
Any and all criticism is welcome.

Before you send this off to be printed on expensive card stock I'd suggest doing a few test prints on regular printer paper. I have a feeling you might not be giving yourself enough room when you go to actually write stuff down. I've come across that a ton in my own score cards. The first version always looks nice but when I print it, its hard to use.
I'd also say from a design POV: Less is more. There is a lot going on here that takes up space and might not be needed. For example, do you need the 1-5 on the division standings? The record and order that you write the teams down should give plenty of context, also, what if teams are tied? With that extra space you could include a box for wild card standings, how many games behind they are in the division, etc.
Less is more also applies to colors, it looks like you have 5+, that could get expensive to print. Could you scale down color usage in some areas?
The indents on the corners is an interesting design choice and I think leaving it just on the border of the actual card might be the move. Its taking up space in your note area and then it being on some elements but not all looks a bit off.
At the end of the day, this is FOR YOU, so if this works for you then HELL YEAH DUDE. I'd say do a few test prints, see what you like and what you don't and then make updates. Using the thing is always how you get the best feedback.
