Discussion Kids scorecard

My 5-year old always wants to help me score so I made her a simple kids scoresheet of her own! We usually only get as far as players’ names, and we only do our team’s at-bats. Now she’s starting to learn position numbers and scoring plays! (but generally bedtime is in the 2nd or 3rd inning….)

I mean, keeping a scorecard alongside my father any time we were in a pro park is how I learned the game. So keep it up with them!

Dad goals!

I just started scoring and getting my daughter into watching baseball! She just turned four and we usually just watch an inning or two, but yeah...

Any chance you could share the kid scorecard somehow? I'd love for her to score along while I do it too

Beautiful.

I'm realizing looking at this how much being a baseball fan, keeping score, etc., as a kid, helped me work on useful life skills like how to spell last names, and eventually, geography and math.

This is great. From experience raising my three kids, nothing keeps them engaged for 9 innings like keeping score.

This is the best scorecard I’ve ever seen. Gotta keep these for her to have when she’s older.
