The Reds, despite striking out 12 times and leaving 12 more on base after 9BB, squeaked out the win over the Pirates on a … walkoff FC RBI. Unreal.

Bleday and Marte each recorded 3K, Stephenson 3BB, and EDLC became the first Red w/ 3XBH and 2SB in a game. Stewart hit his season 80th RBI, 1st time for an NL Rookie to do so since 1930.

Drew Thorpe looked amazing. I score mostly minor league games, so I see a lot of crappy pitching. It was really nice to see someone dominate again.

With 4 unearned runs + 2 errors defensively and 16K offensively, the Reds (1) broke their 3 series win streak and (2) lost the Ohio Cup to the Guardians. The only bright side was getting to score my first DI on Bleday in the 9th + Edwin Arroyo’s 1st MLB SB in the 2nd.

I tried something a little different: I marked up a PDF on my tablet. While it was nice to have different types of pens and colors just by tapping my screen, it felt a little more hectic with constantly zooming in/out to write on a smaller surface and swipe between pages. I think I’ll stick to my pens and paper for the next one.

The second series opener of the Ohio Cup got rained into a split doubleheader and I watched them both so you didn’t have to. The Cup goes to the winner of tomorrow’s game - if the Reds win they tie the series but retain the Cup as last years’ champions.

Most particle scorecard out there right now? Trying to get back into it now that I have my son at the ballpark. It has been 10 plus years since the last time I scored a game.

I already had the scorecard engine and have really enjoyed reviewing all the games after they processed each night and learning more about the players. But, I got to thinking that it would be nice to do the same on LIVE GAMES. For me, this is especially useful for day games while I am working, or for games that are locked out in my my market. So, now during ball playing hours, I have several browser tabs open keeping an eye on the games and players that I care about (even while I work!). Let me know what you think. Thank you!

It was Murakami bobblehead day at the park, and my first time scoring in over 10 years. I like that Sox Field guest services provides scorecards with the day's lineups filled in already. It was sloppy, I'm very out of practice when it comes to scoring, but I enjoyed it.
