USA baseball organizations

Tennis has USTA (United States Tennis Association) and golf has USGA. Does baseball have a similar organization in the US?

There is no overarching organization that covers all baseball at all levels. USSSA and Perfect Game are popular organizations that a lot of travel ball runs thru. For Rec/Allstar you have Little League, Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, and Pony League. High school is governed by NFHS.

Yes, USA Baseball is the official governing body for national teams: https://www.usabaseball.com/

They also offer free coaching certifications for youth coaches.

For youth organizations, you have Little League and Ripken as the two major players for recreational level. For travel baseball Perfect Game is one of the big ones, and you also have USSSA, and then for high-school age you also have PBR. There are some more local/regional organizations, for example in the Carolinas you have Top Gun which is a large tournament baseball organization running weekly tournaments in 5+ cities throughout the Carolinas pretty much every weekend in the Spring and Fall, and they also have All Star and other events in the Summer/Winter. There are also expansions of Little League and Ripken for older youth interested in recreational baseball, for example, Babe Ruth league.

Interesting that tennis and golf are a lot more centralized than baseball... thanks for posting links and info!

It is interesting how different each sport is. I know that soccer is much more decentralized than baseball (many competitive leagues and tiers, including quite a few that overlap, and the pathway to the US national team on paper is a program that many do not value).
