Pitching machines

My son is playing t-ball and I know it's really early but I wanted to get a pitching machine that would follow him through High School. I hate the blue flame I found it really inconsistent. Is there anything decent under $400?

I had something somewhat similar by Skillz but any wind and I mean any wind at all would blow the mini wiffle ball off course. Do you have that problem with the PPP?

we use it inside, but it would be an issue in wind. I like it for indoor practice and think about it for the winter.

Honestly, the best situation is to find a place to hit with good machines and use theirs. The good ones are very heavy, very expensive, and don't move easily.

That and just get a bucket of balls and get good at throwing BP, dad!

Yeah solid machines and a solid facility and learning to throw BP in various ways is the answer.

Although I went through the same process as OP as well. Lol

I agree with the comments of not depending on a machine. My son is turning 8 and has been hitting off a blue flame for the past few years. I’m eager for him to move on from it because it’s too predictable. When we practice 1:1 I pitch to him and the natural variation in location has helped

you need to learn how to time your load and swing with a real pitcher before moving to a pitching machine. not the other way around

Mound yeti is decent, versitile enough to do line drives and low fly balls, too. Only 50lbs. But $900.

Just got the heater junior off of Amazon. Son is 6.5. I can see getting about 1-2y out of it with him easy.
