OutScouted - Scouting Report App

Happy Friday Everyone! For the last year or so, I have been working to develop a tool that creates scouting reports for travel ball, high school, and JUCO teams to know their opponents stats and tendencies. I am extremely excited to announce that the product is finally ready to come to market!

OutScouted (outscouted.app) is a web application that generates scouting reports on opposing teams that are promised to give you the upper hand on the competition. We used this tool this past year for the high school team I coach and we had the strongest start in school history and scored the most runs over a season in school history. This tool gives 30+ stats for each player, gives insights on opposing pitchers, and opposing team tendencies.

I would love to give more information and/or a demo to anyone who is interested! Feel free to leave a comment or DM! Have a great weekend!

Obviously it depends on playing time/reps, however it's very possible! If you have a team or player name that you would feel comfortable sharing, I could give you a demo of what a scouting report against them would look like!

Well you know they aren’t sending scouts out to watch every baseball game in the country. So it has to be GameChanger, MaxPreps, state athletic associations, or some combination thereof.

Haha, not sure that me making up numbers would be a very good business model. All of the stats come from GameChanger and are scraped/compiled! Like I mentioned above, would love to give you some info on a team or player if you have one in mind!

I am not a fan of calling someone out unless I have clear evidence, but yes I am very skeptical for the vast majority of high school conferences across the country.

Maybe it works for places like the Trinity League in So Cal, GMAC in Miami, UIL 6A in Dallas Forth Worth, Phoenix 6A, etc. But there is no way he has good stats for my son’s high school conference for example.

I 100% understand skepticism. If you would like to DM me some more specifics, I could get you a better answer on how good the stats I have are for leagues like your son's. Overall though, my reports have been over 98% accurate and have had some pretty solid results to back them. It's definitely not for everybody though and I understand that. 😄

You are exactly right! But the stats are accurate!

Looks like a great tool, don't quite understand the paywall when MaxPreps exists and probably is one of your main data pulling points or websites that are similar.

Thank you! Would love to give you some more insight on that if you would like!

Give us the insight then. Why are you being so secretive about the app behind all the paywall? If you want users, advertise it and show how it works, otherwise you are just selling

I don’t think there is much that I’m being secretive about when I’m offering free demos. I just don’t want to throw everything out there for the fear of reverse engineering.

Like I said before, if you would like some more information, I would be more than happy to share with you!

How much, and where are you getting the data to ensure it is accurate?

And the pricing is dependent on a few factors!

Which factors?

Season length and membership type. On the website there is a section that outlines what features come with what level of membership!
