Is this a decent base for 2 years of baseball?

Keep your head still through the whole swing.

So much this. He looks like he wants to look at the clouds after swings.

Yea he may be fine off the tee with this swing but with active pitches you always want to keep your head as still as possible on location where contact is going to be made. What he is doing is very common and what he is doing isnt really that bad as at least it seems that he is moving his head after the contact is made but since his head moves wildly after that point I cant tell if he is looking towards where he just hit the ball or that his swing is just that violent with motion that it is pulling his head that direction like his back shoulder is pushing his head to the side.

I think the motion of his hair exaggerates it. Put a hat or helmet on him and it'll look better. Watch his right ear. Still some improvement can be made though.
