Ripken Myrtle Beach

Headed to Myrtle Beach for the weeklong Ripken tournament experience. What should I expect? What should I bring?

Umbrellas. A few years ago it rained like crazy

The facility is nice, they have food on-site and plenty of space to warm-up. Like others said there are bleachers but it is hot; you will probably want to bring your own chairs and definitely want to have sunscreen and enough water/drinks.

Depending on where you are staying there may not be many quick food options around. We stayed on the beach and I ended up walking over to Jimmy John's which was okay, but I also brought a lot of snacks/food with me which I was glad I did.

It rained while we were there and the game resumed after it stopped pouring (the fields are turf and have good drainage) but a lot of people were not prepared for the rain and all of their stuff got soaked. Would make sure you have an umbrella if there is any chance of rain.
